*throws a few more b'logs on the fire and pokes it into full fury... notes that we're getting a mite bit low on b'logs*
Y'know, we better get some people in here and making some in b'logs, otherwise the fire's gonna go out...
*sits comfortably cross-legged on the ground and watches the flames, reminiscing*
Y'know, I think my very first post on hootoo was around the campfire here... some little ditty about a goat who always wanted to on the can, I think.... ahhhh, good times, good times

I was liking it, but now I don't. I think Dad might have been able to get out of the driveway this morning and all the way into Denver to work... but I dunno...
I haven't had the courage to look out the front door window, but from the view up here in the computer room, it looks like we got a few more inches of snow last night!!!
I'm going a bit crazy from being inside, but I wrote 17 pages single spaced of my book in less than a day and a half. This is the first morning that I haven't worked on it in two days. I think I could have it finishsed at the end of March!!! YAY!!!
Good to hear from you, Thoggy.... do you ever use that old e-mail account again!?? How are you!??
The cool thing about the snow is that my Spring Break began early. I'm concerned about being able to drive my little Grand Am to work and back tomorrow, though!!!

Good to hear from you too dear
Although
Somebody changed your name!!!!!
Why?
And yeah, I'm still at my earthlink email address... I've gotten some of your forwards, like that appeal to the UN to stop Bush. I signed, of course, and put a long note in there about how insane he is and all of that... fat lot of ing good it did.
I'm doing fairly well these days... busier than a ing the
out of a
in
er with my work, but,
that's a good thing... or something
All of this
is a little stressful of course -- with Iraq, I mean... my dad is kinda excited, 'cause he figures he's finally going to get to use all the survival gear he's been stashing for the last few years, and I understand his point of view... it is time for a massive change in this country, and sometimes total collapse is the only way to effect a change of the required scale.
Frankly, though, while I fundamentally agree with the need for the collapse of this country, I don't want it to happen, you know... I /like/ my car, and TV, and all those little amenities you can get so used to, so I'm not really all that excited. *siiiighhhh* Just try to go on living a 'normal' life, I guess, and don't worry too much about all the that's hitting the fan until chunks start hitting me.
Anyhooo.... *reads the above* Well, I guess that'll fuel the fire pretty well in a few months.

The camp fire might explode when that one goes onto the flames!!!
My nickname was reset because we are not allowed to discuss the Iraqi conflict in any biased way. My nickname was having a hard time being unbiased.

I see... well, that's rather understandable, actually... I can relate, except I do try to keep my RL out of hootoo... it's bloody hard sometimes, though, as probably evidenced in my posts on your 'f___ing for viginity' thread
Alas.
