Mr. Christopher, enjoying the Magicians Guild game where he is called Polonius Franc, Elder Healer and local merchant Posted Aug 1, 2002
There once was a philanderer from Philadelphia who, after years of philately, found the world's greatest stamp. Now that his life goal was reached, he began a career of philanthropy, to the extent of building an opera house to hold the local philharmonic. One day, he met a woman who was a philhellene, and, after telling her the story of Philemon and Baucis, she agreed to marry him. At the wedding, the priest read the Epistle to Philemon, and the happy couple honeymooned in the Philippines. Sadly, when touring Philistia, she met a man who was a philumenist, and after reading a secret message on a matchbook, she ran off with him. The lonely philaterist was heartbroken, so he read the works of Philo (using his philology lessons from college), grew philodendrons, and experimented with love potions and philters.
So, as our hero became a philosopher of great renound, his former love became a philoprogenitive mother of seventeen.
