Hunter, who is rarely on H2G2 anymore.

sorry lady, but I'ver been curse resistant for years, due to some of my higher level magical experimentation...I can handle maps & runes, but I'm really not so sure about robbing those dragons. I've spent some time at thier wedding, and they seem nice enough, I don't think they desereve that sort of thing. So what's this forest girl want us to do? I'm itching for an interesting quest sooner or later...

Ay? What ancient curse? You seem to me to be a person who lacks adequate deep down, root to tip conditioning. You'll get nowhere with odd threats like that. Why don't you try asking nicely? You'll find people are much more responsive.

I do not threaten you, lady. Merly help.
I only warn of the curse, and offer relief. If you are capable of that on your own, so much the better.
I know a place however, in need of help. I am looking for adventurers to help me there. I had thought perhaps to offer you something in return, but as you are capable of lifting the curse yourselves, perhaps something else is in order.
Can you aide me? If you can, I will return...

*Voice fades out as the lady dissapears in a sunbeam*

Was that a wooden lady disappearing or the effects of the hash-smiley - fish? It's so hard to tell anymore. Either way, I'm intrigued. I wonder what help she needs. I wonder if they'll be treasure and expensive hair care.

Probably the hash-smiley - fishsmiley - biggrin but, if she has treasure and expensive hair-care it could be of use, our adventure has seemed to have developed into a lull the past few months, probably also the hash-smiley - fish as well

(Percy)
smiley - wow don't tell me we miht actually go and do something! about time!

Percy! Smoke on this. *sticks smiley - shark-joint in Percy's mouth*

Just what I need, a horse that talks back.

OK, I think we're all agreed then, well those of us with 2 legs and 2 arms each, we see if the wooden lady has a suitabley exciting and rewarding adventure for us to participate in.

Sound like a good idea to me, but why is Percy doing that?

That's just typical of Percy. He misbehaves, can't take criticism and vanishes in a huff. Tsk, horses aren't what they used to be.

Elvis? What type of horse is he?

Ah *realisation dawns* I understand Priscilla now. 'Elvis' is the Pict form of 'Arthur', and Arthur is of course the King. I believe that Priscilla is longing to go to Camelot. She has ideas of grandeur, obviously.

smiley - erm What's the matter? You look like you've got an itch you can't scratch.

If you go mad it would cause no end of trouble. The nearest asylum is 5 days ride from here and nowhere near a good hairdressers. There's nothing wrong with your head that a decent cut and blow dry couldn't sort out.

Thank goodness you've recovered. If you'd rolled on that grass much longer you would have really messed your hair up. Come here, you've got some grass in it.
