(With the massage oil, our noble, trusty and, by now, outstanding knight proceeds slowly, carefully, firmly but with incredible gentleness to rub the oil into the fair skin of his maiden, reaching every private part of her, every nook, every cranny, between her fingers and toes, behind her ears. He says nothing. He is happy and rested in this quiet haven.)
[Morgas]
Murmers contentedly
[Sir Dragonet]
(Voice all a-tremble) And now, my love, I must..., I must take you, I need to wrap you in my arms and..
[Narrator]
These, dear audience, are Sir Dragonet's last words, for, as he whispers them, and takes the lovely lady in his big strong arms, she, being very slippery from all the oil, is propelled upward and forward, performing a graceful pirouette etc etc landing with a great splash in the lake.
Dragonet stands in alarm, and is about to howl in anguish at losing yet another chance of love when he slips on the scorpion's corpse, fall backwards, and thumps his head very hard, and, sadly, dear audience - vassal pass around the tissues please - fatally. His body lies there, in the dappled sun, naked, and very dead, alone on the rock.
Mysteriously a boat appears, carrying some ghostly women, propelled by unknown means. Observed only by the distressed Morgas, they board the rock, raise the fallen body and carry our hero to the boat. The boat moves off across the misty water.
As they round a bend...
[Ghostly woman]
Hang on a minute, gang! This is no noble knight, this is that scoundrel Pheroneous! What's he doing here?
(And with that, they collectively chuck the body overboard, gun the outboard and disappear, leaving a perplexed Morgas bobbing in their wake!)
