Do you have any elongated or inane pots and pans?
Welcome One and All [preferably all, one get's a bit boring when you have to speak to yourself...]
Phreako Posted Aug 19, 2001
Inane maybe, but not elongated

You could get a Pan/pot with an extra long elongated handle, then you wouldn't need to go so close to the stove? Might work, I could do with part of me being elongated but its probably best not to talk about that

Would it be possible to elongate a conversation to breaking point?
Am I turning this thread into a questions only thread? Why would I want
to do that?

Breaking point? When would that happen?
And why would you want to turn it into a questions only thread?

And you think I know the ansswer to that?
You think I know why I do anything?
you think I know who is running my life?
is not the BBC running my life as I am now their copyright property?
is that a scary thought?
right enough questions?
What other things might you elongate, is a question that I often a couple of times, have considered whilst visiting this particular thread where I find myself at this current time. Which possibly of no interest to anyone is the second or third thread I have visisted since I just came back onto H2G2 after (for the first time in a long while), looking at other places on the net.
"what" I hear you scream; "there are places other than H2G2"?
Well, apparently there is or should that be there are?
Actually rather frightening conversation type message board thinggies that suffer none of the prohibition forced onto h2G2 thorugh the evil minds of the torturious people who govern the site with a strickt some would say overpowering even dictorship type rule.
anyhow back to what I was, oh, very frightening but strangely interesting message boards to do with three-somes and the kind, swingers I think was a frequent word on the site/message boards, I only had a look, ohnest.
don't look at me like that,
oh,
you can look at me like that though anyhow, or should that perhaps be and now for something completely differnet?
See?
I can't stop asking questions can I?
Oh, I did it again didn't I?
anyhow as I say, or perhaps as I was about to say, or even, mercy beset aloft, as I said; for, as one must surely not ever comprehend to accept realisation of, I do not appreciate repitition, I do not appreciate repitition, deviation hesitation, or constipation.?
The ponders of myself in minds cavenous deep and elongated pathways of fatal constructions of information recieved and poorly spelt, as the sluggish 5 Pm rush hour of my brains neurotransmittion fails to independantly conferm that to which I inextricibly find myself drawn through the rambles of elongated and ill-forgotten neural pathways tangibly drawing web-like thorugh the sollice of the deeply forgotten passions and occurances of that best left forgotten. I find an inextricible desire to best describe in as elongated as fasion as possible, with as good a speling as A bad speler of the wourld untied might be able to do, the thought processes themselves which draw to a conclusion or rather a lack of conclusion over the subjects that might, or have, or even could be considered for elongation.
And, basically, in a nut shell, (i've never been in a nut shell, I wouldn't think I would fit, what do you think?)
And cutting to the chase, is the final albeit possibly elongated finally finaley fin a ly? to this particualr struggle through the toffy fudge interour of my deepest yet somehow strangely dynamically obtuse matcherations?
And, therefore I say, but not witout a fear of tremepation itself, or a jusitified sense of my own mortality, to ask, simply, consicely spelt incorectely:
What do you think we could elongate next?
Welcome One and All [preferably all, one get's a bit boring when you have to speak to yourself...]
Ming Mang Posted Aug 22, 2001
Wow!!
Very impressive!
You truly have the gift of one who can inanely elongate.
I think. That what we. Should elongate next. Is. A. Potato. No, hang on, we've done that...
OK, a, errmmmm... candle.
If that's possible.

I am not a religious person, but, I can truthaly say that one of the most, which is to indicate a rahter of the nature to which it pertains, experiances I have had involved a church. An abby as it happens, or perhaps that is not supprising as it was an abby, in fact it was to be precise, which is I think something I should, or rahter do strive to be, precise, I mean, so, as I was saying, or about to say, or perhaps more precisly, which I think we have established rather througherly is how I like to be; precise and to the pint, Opps; point of course. Which means in a rahter roundout way with much poor spelling or at least much with which people who can spell would undoubtidly notice is incorrectly spelt. where was I,
oh yes, Buckfast abby; which is itself most probably spelt incorrectly, by which I don't mean that the name is incorrectly spelt, only that I have spelt the name incorrectly.
Anyhow relaxation. rlaxed.
The abby was very peaceful and the reason, or perhaps excuess or even the probable answer as to why I pick this moment, this particualr moment to bring up the abby. Aside that which is obious that I have visited this place. Is that there were candles.
Now, even by my estimation I recon, and guess although probably most inaccuratly that these candles were a good four foot long, although, it is important, well maybe not important, but at least pertinant, or of interest, to note, that as I am a man this figure is probably a third highe rthatn it actually was, as most men tend to exagerate length by a third or thereabouts, so, these three-foot candles were buring in the abby, and as I was saying or perhaps most appropiatly typing herein that was as I say what it was I wanted to say, I'me not at all sure if this helps, I'me not at all sure than anything can help but it is certainly the case that I have just attempted to elongate an inante conversation regarding elongated candles, or at least long or should that be perhps more accuratly tall candles? I am not at all sure in regard to this most probably the final point, I should go now, where to I do not know. I have no candles. I do not worry that have I have I have I have no candles. I also have no drinkible red wine. and I am still rather upset about that, would you be in the same circumstance? I rather think so, although Of course we could quite easily argue the case that in all reality what ever reality is, I do not in fact think, and thinking is indeed rahter an figment or perhaps a pigment of my immagination. which is of course rubbish, as if it were a pigment of my immagination then I must be thinking to imagine it::
Quaret et Demonstrandum.

Well, I think congratualtions are in order, after that impressive attempt to elongate candles. Stunning, absolutely stunning.
And even if thinking is a figment of your imagination, you must be thinking to imagine it.

But, what if I was only imagining that I was thinking I was imagining I was thinking, and that indeed I was not doing that as I do not exist and you do not exist and the whole world does not exist as we think we imagine we think we imagine it? and what if we are all just computer code so programed to imagine we are actually people, and to imagine we are sitting somehwere typing on our computers; when we are in fact just binary computer code in some big computer somewhere because we have all been killed by the bomb when it fell back in 1987 and we don't even realise it fell because the American government killed all remaining people left alive and transfered there throughs and memories onto computer databases, and the BBC is now just a tool of the evil powers that control our binary code in order to maintain world order, in what ever actually remains left of the world after the bomb 001101101110010010011011011011110011011

An interesting problem, but as we probably will never know that answer to it, it may be rather a waste of time to think about it. I think.
