A Conversation for Ministry of Inane Elongated Conversations
Welcome One and All [preferably all, one get's a bit boring when you have to speak to yourself...]

Come on in. This is the Inania room, you'll probably find everything I say here slightly inane.
Here you'll find to your left a collective of [very soft] deep red sofas, as some may know we [Ming and myself] are famed for in the h2g2 political world...
To your right you'll spot the fabulous towel hangings, situated just above the drinks dispensers. [Recommend you try each drink, other than number 3. Number 3 tastes almost, but not entirely, unlike tea.]
As for the wall ahead of you... there isn't one... hahaha!...
...Well actually there is, but it's so far away that you won't be able to see it [it follows the elongated rule too]...
Try one of the scooters parked outside if you want to get there. The door leads to the Convoe room...
Read about that later... first one to ask me about it gets something in there named after them...! [Howz about that for an incentive?]

What's a convoe room, and why would I want something in there named "after me" ?

I SAID this isn't looking inane or elongated at all!

Inanity, Insanity, and whatever shall we elongate?

Ming Mang Posted Jun 21, 2001
Ummmm... now there's good question. I don't think I have the answer. Maybe we could try and think of one?

I know what some of my adolescent minded friends would suggest, but it would get censored.

You could talk to yourself, or I could...
No, better not to summon the Imps.

[Me]
Should I talk to Myself
[Myself]
Sure, nothing wrong with an interesting conversation.
[Me]
Yes, but since we both have the same opinion on everything, would it really be all that interesting?
[Myself]
Good point. Of course, one of us could pretent to have a different view on something.
[Me]
You know we're not very good at that.
[Myself]
Hummmm, Good point.

Ming Mang Posted Jun 27, 2001
Well, Ming, I'm going to talk to you.
Oh OK. But I am me.
Yes, I know that.
So do I.
That's because you are me.
Oh yes.
OK.
Right.
What shall I talk about?
I don't know.
Nor do I.
I know that.
Oh yes.
Right.
OK.
This isn't getting me anywhere.
No, it's not.
It's good practise for confusing someone though.
Excellent!!
Quite.
Yes.
Um.
Maybe I should have an arguement?
Oh no, I only had one an hour ago.
Oh yes, I'd forgotten that.
Only cos you won.
Oh come on, it wasn't very important.
Was too.
Oh don't start again...
Why not?
Because I only get bitter when I argue.
So I do. And I don't care.
Well I do.
Pah.
Please?
Oh alright...
So. Um. How am I?
Uh, the usual. But I know that.
Yes, I do...
This post is very long.
Well, I will keep nattering on...
Yes, I know.
I should probably stop now.
For a bit. I'll speak to me again then.
Most certainly.
Cool.
Cool.

[I]
Me, tell myself that I refuse to talk to her
[Myself]
Why aren't you talking to me?
[I]
I'm talking to Me, just not Myself.
[Me]
This is confusing. Why did I start talking to myself?
[I]
I'M NOT TALKING TO MYSELF! I'M TALKING TO YOU ME!

Great. I'm doing 5 subjects next year and there's no way I can persuade myself not to.
I'll never cope with the workload.
I know, I know, but I just can't think how I could persuade me not to do any of them. I like them all so much...
Yeah yeah, I know all that. I'm just weak, that's my problem.
Well, I wouldn't say that. Actually I would. But only sometimes.
Hm.
Don't sulk.
I wasn't.
Were.
Wasn't.
Oh stop it!
Why?
Errr... I can't think of any good reason, but please?
Might do.
I guess that's the best I'll get...
Maybe.
Any possibility of saying more than two syllables?
Maybe.
That's a no then...
Is it?
Oh, this is futile...
Indeed.
I'm going to stop talking to me now and go for a bit.
Fine then.

You know I think I might have a go talking to myself.
Really?
Yep, good, do you think?
No not often.
Oh.
Hmm. This is getting far. So what about that Geography?
Soil moisture budget?
Yes. How did you know?
Because we've got the same mind.
Oh that's right.
Let's not talk about the SMB, it takes thinking.
And I'm not good at that.
Me neither.
>silence<
>silence<
Ok, I'd rather talk to someone else, if you don't mind.
Me too.
Ok, see you later.
Hey I'm coming with you!
Oh yes. Ok.

[I] I like talking to Myself
[Myself] Why can't I talk to Myself?
