Jimster. Do you think I should put the quote in Betty's bio or Wilma's?

We just watched an episode from 1960! It was on Boomerang at 10.30pm. The girls were swooning over an Italian film star and Fred spruced himself up, grew a moustache and held a cigarette holder and spoke in a posh accent.
An Avon Lady appeared at the door and Dino knocked her over & she fell into Fred's arms, and Wilma thought she'd fallen for him
Then Fred took the bosses wife to the airport to fly to Rockapulco on Pteradactyl airways.
My son almost split his sides at seeing the baggage handlers "trolley" it was a creature with a long tail that he held, and the bags were on its back. and it waddled along in fron of the porter with the porter holding its tail.
There was a penguin which popped out the freezer compartment of Wilma's fridge and popped an icecube into Wilma's drink, she left the door open & the penguin said to the camera "I wish people'd learn to close doors"
Then there was the dragon coffee pot/maker.
Oh and at the beginning there was a bird which Wilma stuffed into a jar and it sucked up the contents then Wilma squeezed the bird and it blew perfume on her
And when Dino ran to greet Fred, Dino kissed him! I don't remember that! I always thought he just pinned him to the floor and licked him to death!
Next one's on at 2.05amthink I'll have to miss that
but I'll watch out for others.

I forgot the parrot (or whatever - on the perch in their front room)
Wilma pulled a feather from it's tail (to see what Fred would look like with a moustache, while he was asleep) and the parrot said "Hey! Those things don't grow on trees you know!"
I gotta get us some Flintstones DVD's...

Doubly checked, the Red Dwarf quote was how I posted it earlier, "[well] I would go with Betty...but I'd be thinkin' of Wilma", that pause is comic timing at its best.

Would you put it in Wilma's or Betty's bio?

Either. You actually make a feature of Betty's sex appeal, so it would make sense to say at the end of Betty's section that while Betty is clearly desired by many, she's not the animated babe of choice for the boys of Red Dwarf. Insert the quote - job's a good'un

You're right, that sits quite nicely. I've moved the Red Dwarf link to the first reference and removed the Red Dwarf mention after Lister, as it's not required twice (I think)
Does it read ok in the entry?
Did you read all I found out about The Gruesomes Jimster?

eeeep, beg pardon, it was Tony2Times who requested info on The Gruesomes.

Have you re-read the entry, Tony2Times?

On the Gruesomes, I'd ditch the footnote and birth/death dates as they're available at the end of the IMDb link. Other than that - fantastic!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this piece. It was really fun reading about this historic (Don't Hit Me! Don't Hit Me!) family.
My only confusion is about the Jessica Rabbit thing. Certainly, anyone who has entertained the possibility of her being designed around MM, has never seen the numerous pictures of MM in the buff.
Nearly as unbelievable, but far more likely, would be if she were designed around MM would be competitor, Jayne Mansfield.
No reason to change any of what you wrote, though. If you've found rumours that she was patterned after MM, that's what your report!

I can't recall MM in the nude, but I think you're right.
I'll remove the reference, as it's not really relevant to the Flintstones entry, and I don't want people to be distracted by discussing the vital statistics of MM & Jessica
when they should be debating whether Betty or Wilma is the more fanciable!

I've linked to The Cat and Lister instead
And I've just found out that there's a Red Dwarf - The Movie in post-productionso your entry on Red Dwarf will need updating, Jimster

FordsTowel, and anyone else who's interested, there are original Flintstones episodes (currently 1960) on Boomerang channel at 10.30pm each weeknight.
