Silly me, how didn't I see that? Must be or or full of coldor all of the above, uowou9 !!

What a great entry! Well written, thorough and a fun read. I haven't seen the show in years, but this brought back many fond memories.

Your article can certainly stand as it is, but if you are interested in a little more trivia it might be worth noting that there was one, and only one, episode where the character of Dino could talk -- it was the eleventh episode of the first season entitled SNORKASAURUS HUNTER and it aired on 27 January, 1961. Fred and Barney go hunting Snorkasaurus for dinner and Dino, their intended victim, who sounds like the comedian Phil Silvers as Sergeant Bilko (Phil Silvers show 1955-1959), out smarts the hunters at every turn. Eventually he wins the hearts of Wilma and Betty and the show ends with Dino apparently a new member of the Flinstones household helping Wilma with the chores.

Actually, my memory isn't that good, while reading the bit about Dino I vaguely recalled that he spoke at one point. So, I did a little Googling and uncovered the above facts. Interestingly, while searching I uncovered a minor brouhaha amongst the Flintstone-illuminati over the 'talking Dino" episode. "Is it the same Dino?", "Does the episode violate continuity" etc. etc.

Anyway, if you can use any of this great. If not, no harm done. I'm home with the flu and I'm grateful for the pleasant diversion. Again, this is a really nice entry.
