Actually, I've always put honey on pancakes. I do that to waffles too. Very yummy. But then again, I like very sugary things on my baked breakfast-item-type thingies... french toast covered in powdered sugar...

We can still get fresh s, but they're shipped in from California right now.. not nearly as good as the fresh local ones from about 2 months ago... but in a pinch, the frozen ones will do....
We seem to need a smiley now....

I don't know..... I"m sure it would be whichever the British preference happens to be.....
Anyone happen to know which term is used by the British for pancakes/flapjacks/hotcakes?

For the battery things you eat on Shrove Tuesday, pancake. A flapjack is an entirely different treacly oaty thing.

Don't mind me... when I first read that, all I could picture was battery as in AA or D batteries.....
