Wow... now only about two more hours!!! THIS IS GREAT!!!

OH!!! And GREAT NEWS!!! I wrote an e-mail to the new opinion editor of my college newspaper about a week ago, and I got his reply today... he stated that he had trouble with his account, and the only reason he had my addy was because he printed it out, but that he remembers my writing from a past issue... and to write him back!!! YAY!!!

And my good friend has a job set up for her in Germany... it's going to be GREAT for her!!! YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!!!

I used to make lovely orange pancakes
with yogurt sauce. Trouble is, I have
great difficulty making pancakes come
out right, so I pretty much stopped making
them about twenty years ago.

Okay, okay, you're probably thinking that
only an idiot would be unable to make pancakes.
If that's true, I must be an idiot then.
I'm reasonably good at making bread
and cake, though, so I get by.

Orange pancakes with yogurt sauce..... well, you must give us the recipe, you know....

And the way to make pancakes without making a mess.....

<other than those soon to be in everyone's yard sale pancake flipping pans you see advertized on tv)

Let the pancakes get full of bubbles before you even think of trying to flip them.... and make sure you have a very thin flexible bladed pancake flipper - the plastic ones are far too thick.... and make sure you season the pan sufficiently before you start. Cast iron griddles are the best, I think...

Better be looking for the recipe too.....
