People who fall from trees usually wish they hadn't climbed it, but EVERYONE who falls out of a tree is more carefull next time. Kids aren't.

I actually fell out of a tree when I was a kid. I wasn't very good at physical activities, wanted to try it (because I wanted to learn, get praise from friends - the usual stuff) and still suffer the consequences.

I used to climb trees all the time when I was younger. Thought it was fantastic. Used to get up quite high too. Stopped when I had a sudden realisation what I was doing and how the exposed roots on the rather steep banks where the trees grew would probably snap my neck if I happened to fall out of it.
Never quite got up the nerve after that and have since lost the lithe agilty that made it possible in the first place

I was never agile enough as a kid, was a bit of a fatty to tell the truth. I thought I'd try to join the indoor-climbing group a few months back, but those people are the only people on the planet who have ever managed to out-weird me.

Lucky you...at least you climbed trees...
...every time I made an attempt TPTB, aka Mum, stopped me...I was never allowed to do any fun...
...but I had fun later... ...never in a tree though...
