Agent 1-3: High Priestess of the Cult of Ernie, Chieftain of Laziali, and Professional Devotee of the Sunshine of Goldilocks
just stopping by to say hi ... which is nicely poetic and will do for starters
I'm very new so please be gentle with me!
(incidentally, every word of my name has a meaning, which you may or may not get to discover. Perhaps you could try to guess ...)
cheers

That's a really cool name you've picked out for yourself there.
Since I think Clive is busy this weekend, I'll gabble you in.
Llywela - Agent 1-3: High Priestess of the Cult of Ernie, Chieftain of Laziali, and Professional Devotee of the Sunshine of Goldilocks - hereby proclaimed!
You can pop on over to no no no and uniforms (links off the main manifesto page) to visit with the rest of the troops. And here's your !!!
So... what *does* your name mean?

thanks *takes a bow*
... 'kay, I give in. An explanation is in order, and it goes thus:
Ernie is the single most important part of my title, the light of my life I am a long-standing member of a growing band of loyal followers, currently anxiously awaiting his return from the darkness into the light. There were those who believed it would come about last Wednesday, but alas they were mistaken. And there are those who feel it will happen tomorrow, but myself I feel it will take longer and am prepared to wait, patiently, until his return.
(Incidentally, my fellow High Priestess forms one half of a bizarre creature which roams the Scottish lowlands and is known to the world as Shaross.)
Agent 1-3 (13, my lucky number) is the Professional Devotee of the Sunshine of Goldilocks.
This is a thinly veiled reference to a 70s cult TV cop show, to which I am ever so slightly addicted. Great fun, it's fantastic
The clue is in the title for any Brit who was alive in the 70s.
Chieftain of Laziali is fairly self-explanatory to those who, like me, follow the wonderful world of calcio.
there, now, that should make everything about as clear as mud
'nuff said. I'm off for a cuppa

I was thinking Ernie as in Ernie and Bert (you guys did watch Seseame Street when you were little, didn't you?)... Goldilocks as in she and the three bears... apparently I was on a kid-kick last night.

Llywela - High Priestess of the Cult of Ernie Posted Mar 22, 2003
um, I did, yes, and oddly enough my sister once had a pair of cats called Bert and Ernie ...
but nope, not a bear in sight. Goldilocks was the nickname of a character in the show (never was sure why)
Ernie is a nickname a group of us crazy fools gave to a footballer (from Argentina, plays in Italy) who is currently injured ... hence the long, sad wait for his return which fingers crossed will come soon.

lol
this evil Brit was being deliberately vague ... did it work?
(I think the goldilocks thing was only actually mentioned a couple of times, but it goes well with the sunshine bit)
the Ernie thing is a much longer story. Get well soon, sunshine we miss you!

O yes... being vague works well on me. Especially when I have totally different associations with all those words.

We have this really disgusting Bert&Ernie spoof. It's rude yet strangely funny.
