Oh My... What can I say.. I'm honored of course, but I'm also frazzled. I pled to be a thingite from a computer at work and then spent way to much time at home trying to log in from home. I had no problem with my pass word. That I knew.. I couldn't remember my username. OH!! MY!!! GHOT!!! I felt like Deep Thought. I knew the answer, but not the question! Oh what a "Pirate Day" (say it with me) AAARRGHHHHHHH!!!

Maybe we could start a sub-movement to create a day called "Pirate" when we all just accept that the day will be annoying and all go around saying "AAARRGGGGHHH" in our best pirate accents. Since all the weekdays are taken, maybe we could just designate a day of the month, kinda like the Ides of March. We could have the Pirates of December. Nah, nevermind to strict. I reserve the right to declare any day Pirate day. "AAARRRGGHHH" Oooh...you could get extra points for sneaking pirate phrases into ordinary speach. Try getting "avast" into a work related conversation.

One of those days when you know almost nothing will go as planned. You could either let it get to you and be cranky and miserable or you could just be a pirate instead. Either way you'll be saying AARRRGGHH often.

But if it is a day, it would be preventive AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHing, and not out of frustration!

For half a sec, I thought you said you were goin' to "update the rooster". I didn't know where this rooster was or what made it so special that you had to report back to it, but I figure that'd be a rooster I'd rather not tangle with I think.
Actually, come to think of it, I don't know where the Roster is either, but it doesn't sound nearly as intimidating as that rooster did.

The roster is located in the "New code for Thingite roster" thread. I add new Thingites as they're gabbled. If you go to the end of the conversation, there'll be the newest one there ... including your own fine self. You can copy and paste it into your Personal Space if you'd like ... as long as you have it set to GuideML.

Yea, I gotta update my homepage. And learn guideML. And get around to no no no and the armoury and read what I can of the klogs for them. ACH... I've actually been a researcher for quite awhile but mostly just a lurker until lately. Got lots a readin to do.
