Oh, I'm sure of it. I'm prepaired for the worst. CLI, The Doughnut Federation, the h2g2 Police/Fire-fighters, the h2g2 secret service, the entire population of the h2g2 Space Centre, CHOPPERS, Chris Tonks on a continuity breaking spree, nothing will be able to stop me!

Just out of curiosity, I want to remind people about Plan Beta. When I give an order along the lines of "Initiate Plan Beta, in regards to (insert wannabe-heroe's name here)", you should all know what to do, correct?

ohhh, doomsday! When i went in for my initiation before the big flop i knew great things would be coming, but this! I'm impressed! Since I have been in initiation for about 35 or 40 days may I be apart of this wonderfully devious plan, or must I go through more?

should we explain plan beta, just for memory purposes? i'll leave that decision to you, KL.

As to the initiation of Xerces, I see no reason why the initiation that was started should not be concluded. Welcome aboard.

As for Plan Beta, this is the gist of it (for memory purposes): if I believe a super hero (or any do-gooder, for that matter) to be breaking continuity, I will initiate the organized shunning of said hero by telling people to "Initiate Plan Beta." Nothing that the hero says for the rest of the duration of the mission will be heard, seen, felt, or cause consequences for any of the villains. Now, this does *not* give us the power to break continuity ourselves, of course, and I may lift the shunning from a hero if I believe that they will behave themselves, but this is still an action that I want to save for the absolute most drastic continuity situations.

By the way, Xerces, there's a page about the rules of continuity that you really should read. Let me see if I can find the URL...

eh. continuity's easy.

1. you can't kill anyone else's characters.
2. technically, you can't injure anyone else's characters unless it's okay with them. i don't know how we want to deal with that one, since we usually don't observe it as long as we're not inflicting mortal wounds.
3. you're not supposed to create people or things without being able to explain their existence. we usually have a handful of red-shirted-extras on hand, but others tend to be irritated if you're constantly creating new characters.
