*mumble, grumble*
Weighed in today, and had lost (well, thank goodness for that!) -0.7 kg (1.54 lbs) - in 2 weeks!
Oh well - at least I got my 5th - but I've got at least another 10 kg (22 lbs) to get rid off and, since I've lost weight so fast in the past, I'm getting a bit unpatient...

Take heart, Titania - I still have over 20kg to lose, and haven't budged since Christmas. I AM NOT GIVING UP!!!!!
Last Saturday I lost 0.8kg, and this week I am in Singapore. I have started walking every day again on the treadmill (because the hotel has one), and hopefully I will keep this up when going back to a wintry Sydney (where it is dark when I get up and get home).

Hey - way to go Tashalls!
Oh yes - you've got winter now - I recognize the 'only seeing daylight through the office window'-thing - but it *does* feel odd that we're on opposite sides of not only the but also the seasons!

Titania You're still going down! Any direction other than up is a good one!
And well done you Tashalls for getting on that treadmill, you've motivated me to shift my ass and go for a walk at lunchtime!
Being 'super good' till Wednesday didn't last long - twas a housemate's birthday yesterday... more beer and I thought this morning - as I'll be drinking loads of water today (as you do after a big sesh), I hope it'll all shift by tomorrow evening, otherwise I might retain lots and be heavier tomorrow Damn my love for sweet sweet !

Hey, thanks - I think that's what I will have to do back home, just go for a 40min walk at lunchtime. There is a lovely walk I could do that takes me down to the harbour and back!

I'd lost 2.5lb last night!
Didn't have any dinner before going again though cuz I hadn't done last week. Next week I'm going to start eating before I go again, just a light meal, I can't be doing with starving until 7.30pm!
Was thinking... I *might* have to buy a new pair of jeans for the meet next Saturday
Was also thinking - I'm now able to fit into some skirts I bought a few years ago! The only problem now is cellulite
Apparently the only thing that will get rid is healthy food, exercise, and brushing/rubbing/stimulating the area why can't somebody invent a true miracle cream!

Hey hey hey - well done!
Midsummer festivities coming up this weekend - I wonder how that'll affect my weight...

congratulations - i love being able to buy new jeans! they are the true indicator of weight loss, not the scales...

Titania - get into the festival activities - you'll burn off the festival food!
ta Tashalls, I don't know if it's that way with clothes - shops vary so much - one outfit I've got, the top is a 14 and the trousers 22! But, I will definitely be looking in the general field of a size lower
IT'S FRIDAY BABY YEAH!!!!

wow - that sounds a bit off! i have been reading articles lately where the fashion industry in Australia is getting out of control by adjusting sizes outside of normal ranges. Hence, you can go into different stores and be a size 8, 10 or 16!!! The reason they're doing this is a clever marketing ploy to get women to buy clothes when they think "great - I'm a size 10!" when normally they know they're a size 14...

...and I guess overweight people are just all too happy with that to protest? I hope I'm wrong, though...
Weigh-in tonight - and I had lost -1.3 kg (-2.9 lbs) in one week! diva>
Meaning I've lost a total of -16.4 kg (-36.2 lbs) and only have 8.6 kg (19 lbs) left to my first main goal! (which is to get below 25 in BMI)
I bought a pair of quality running shoes on sale (1/3 off) and went for one of my brisk/speed walks on Saturday - but the shoes felt so fast that I started running!
I told myself not to overdo it, since that would probably just put me off, so I limited it to just 50 running steps, followed by 200 walking, and then 50 running, 200 walking and so on... couldn't keep it up though for the whole distance - but it's definitely a start! Man... I haven't been running for ages!

Actually, I think everyone realises how stupid the situation is getting, and noone is really fooled. I makes shopping so much harder. There is talk about reining in the industry with new "body standards" as they have not been revised since forever - ie: size 14 should have certain measurements across bust, back, waist, etc, etc.
Well done on your weight loss Titania! I put on 2.2 last weigh in, but I had just stepped off a plane from a 7 hour flight, so I am telling myself it was mainly fluid. I am back on track this week and my home scales show a marked difference!(I use them as a guide, not gospel, though)

Well done on losing 2.9lb Titania! And especially for ! I feel like a slacker!
Tash, it probably was a lot to do with that flight, as you say. See how you go next time

Could it be water? I know my body hoard water sometimes - I can tell because one of my rings feels tight when I try to take it off my finger
Ho hum... I'm trying to get mentally prepared for the weigh-in on Monday showing that I've gained - I'm *not* going to count points during the meetup weekend!

I got to meet queeglesproggit and Kelli!
Now, should I go to the weigh-in tonight or not? I've been eating and drinking way too much during the weekend, but on the other hand I've been running up and down stairs in the London underground a lot - I think I might lose weight just by living in London!

I got to meet kelli and Titania!
Always go to the weigh-in... if you've not done so well it'll give you motivation! Well, that's the plan, but as I was wittering on to you on Saturday, I sort of went into the reverse and have not been good at all .... too much beer!
Was planning to be super good today and do lots of walking, but the weather is against me!

I was going to eat something unhealthy at the Penderel's Oak, but by the time I tried to order (9.30 pm) they had stopped serving food downstairs, but I was told I could order and eat upstairs, so the kitchen was obviously still open - where's the logic in that?
I'm not sure if having a couple of more instead of food was a good or a bad thing!
