Break out the ! I weighed in at 5lbs lighter than last week!!
Mind you, I was wearing my boots last week, but they don't weigh 5lbs! And, AND, I had my dinner Before I went!!!
So now, my weight is 14st 0.5lbs!
Haven't started training for Race for Life yet, but will in earnest on Friday. Plus thought of going to kickboxing again, I feel the need to release some tension!
The fact that I lost some even though I'm not sure exactly how much, but I've lost some(!), is spurring me on to continue with the healthyness!!!

Yes! I had lost another 0.7 kg at the weigh-in yesterday!
I wonder if I could hope for another next week? If so, then I have reached my 10% goal!
...but I've had another insane proteine/fat craving - and I gave in for it too... *sigh* - stuffed my face full with almost an entire bag (200g) of salted peanuts yesterday...
In 8 weeks, that's the second time it's happened to me - last time it was a whole package of full-fat Feta cheese (yummie) - and I had *still* lost weight that week - I do hope I'll get off easy this time too...

I survived! I survived the peanuts! That is... I still lost some weight : -0.5 kg at weigh-in tonight!
...but only 0.1 kg away from my third gold star - dang! But I'll get it next week, I will!

You know you only have to jot these binges down and write a book -
"Binge your way to weight loss!" It would be a best seller.
I am so jealous that you have the will power to do this. I successfully kept to a diet I planned for myself recently - but didn't keep it up long enough to see any difference. When/how will I learn? And at my age it is even harder to lose weight, I've heard. I'm 48 now and have been trying to lose my puppy fat since I was 14.

Well, realizing that I was well on the way to reach a 3-digit (in kg) weight was my alarm clock - I'll never, never, *ever* going to weigh something with 3 digits!
...and I simply *know* that I haven't got the self discipline to lose weight on my own - I need the control as well as the encouragement and pep-talk I get at the Weightwatchers - and this time I've found a gem!
A young girl with just the right mix (for me) of facts and humour, of seriousness and stand-up comedy - and she manages to give most things a personal touch... one of these days I'll have to step up to her and tell her what a great work she's doing...
...maybe, maybe, maybe next week - you see, when I've lost 10% of my starting weight, I get this key ring, and it's usually given in front of the rest of the group - and if there's something I've learnt it is that it's important to show your appreciation in words!
So often you think that someone surely knows that what he/she does is appreciated - but how are they to know if you don't tell him/her?
Come to think of it - "show your appreciation in words" was an h2g2 motto for me some time ago - about time I start thinking about it again!
Thank you all for caring - and have you been following the WW story at <./>ThePost</.>?

Well done!
Going again tomorrow after a two week break... we shall see how I've done then...
I've found that with these 'sins' things, it's much more fun if - rather than having a little naughty something every day, you be perfectly good and then binge all your extra sins and points at the weekend!

I'd stayed the same after 2 weeks better than gaining I guess.
Am going again tomorrow... went for a run today, maybe that will help!
How you guys doing? It's all gone very quiet!

Things are going a bit slowly on my side too - not only am I feeling a bit grumpy and generally uninspired due to PMT - but it also made my body start hoarding water again...
At weigh-in two days ago: I had lost exactly what it took to get my third -0.1 kg - lousy -0.1 kg! And I just needed another 0.3 kg for that key ring...*sigh*
Well, at least I hadn't gained weight like I did last month...

That's cool! You lost just enough to get your !
0.1kg is better than none at all! Think how poo you'd have felt if you'd put on! You're still losing it baby yeah!
Got weighed tonight - I lost 3lb! Quite surprised cuz I've been fairly good, but not planning my meals, just trying to eat within what I think are the limits. That meant though, that I'd lost my first 1/2 stone! I got a red on my book!
Though a little part of me feels as though it isn't really half a stone cuz I was wearing my shoes the first week, though I've been eating dinner before I go every week since!
Dead chuffed overall!
Treated myself to a biiiig tub of muller light yoghurt cuz that's a free food on Slimmers World. I've set myself a target to get down to 13 stone by 1 June, if I carry on losing 2lb a week I'll do it! It's easier I think to have a short term focus. Mind you - easter over the weekend and I've started adding to my stash of for my binge after being chocolate free for lent! The stash is getting to a fairly big size!
Started trying to train again for this Race for Life, didn't go running/walking today but will tomorrow. I want to achieve!!!!
Good luck you guys - summer's coming, which means we eat less chunky food generally. I wanna slinky bridesmaid dress for September!

I hope you all survived Easter!
I had decided beforehand that I would either lose weight or stand still - I would *not* gain weight - and then I didn't go last week, because they were closed on Easter Monday - two weeks since I last weighed in - and today I found out I had lost -1.3 kg (2.87 pounds?)!
But I was a bit miffed that they forgot to give me my key ring (for losing 10%) and I had to remind them!
Anyway - it was a relief to see that I'm getting there, slowly but bit by bit!
Keep it up everyone!

Woohoo! Well done!
I weighed in yesterday, have put on 2.5lbs in the last two weeks since my last weigh-in. Which puts me at 14st exactly.. which I'm pleased with, cuz I'm not 'over' 14st!
My binge lasted a week! I'd bought so much chocolate and working in the evenings meant I couldn't sit at home stuffing my face, so it lasted aaages, the boys (housemates) were helping me out too!
I won't be running in the Race for Life , haven't had time to train, haven't had the inclination in my rare spare time. So I'm gonna walk fast instead! Training for walking isn't so harsh as running, which means I'm less likely to avoid it!
Had a tub of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food as my last choccy thing last night. Being good from now on (have told myself I can binge again in August for my birthday ). We shall see the results next Wednesday....
Keep to it folks

Just posting to bring this thread higher up on my conversation list - weigh-in tonight...
I suddenly remembered I had a pair of jeans (the kind with glitter in them) in my wardrobe - I had bought them in a wave of optimism (but after I bought them I continued to gain weight, so I never got to wear them)...
...and now they fit - and not even tightly! I feel almost slim in them!

kelli - ran 2 miles a day for 2012, aiming for the same for 2013 Posted May 5, 2003
Good luck for tonight.
It is fantastic when you rediscover clothing you thought you'd never get into again You should be really pleased with yourself
It is a bit like time travel - going back through years and years worth of things you haven't thrown out and finding out that you are the same size as you were in 1998. I tried on a formal dress from the depths of my wrdrobe yesterday - I didn't think I was *that* huge at the time I bought it but it just hangs off of me now - I'll have to get it altered so that I can wear it again, it is too nice to get rid of but about 3 sizes too large
k - nothing lost this week, damn those free biscuits

Told you the jeans weren't even feeling tight, right?
May 1st is a holiday in Sweden, so I had the day off, took a day off on Friday, which made a veeeery long weekend...
...spent one of the days over-eating because it was one of those days when it feels like you have a bottomless hole instead of a stomache...
...ate less one day, too much another day, even too little one day (I was too hooked on a new PC game)...
...I didn't write down how much I had eaten, and I recently read a chapter in a book about appetite - learning to listen to it - so during the 4 days in a row that I wasn't working, I ate when I felt like it...
- and I had lost 1.9 kg (4.2 pounds?) - in one week! I've *never* lost that much in one week!

Kelli - think about it this way - you ate biscuits (and I hope you enjoyed them!) and you *did not gain* - I think that's an OK result, just takes a little bit longer to get where you're aiming...

I lost the 2.5 pounds I'd put on! YAAY!!
Don't know if I'll managed 13 stone by June now, but I'm damn well gonna try, and I'll be happy if I'm a couple of pound over that...
Got the bus to work this morning which meant a bit more walking, plus I'm gonna go for a walk in my lunch hour again today.
I've been listening to tapes about leading in business, and a lot it applies to life as well - today's 'message' was about Cause & Effect - you won't get an effect if you don't put the effort in to cause it!
Race for Life on Sunday!
