Rolling Along in our stolen APC
Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Jun 13, 2001
I could do with a couple o' kippers (but I can't say that fast ten times in a row )
Now, what to do with this tiny bottle I found under that secret hatch?
And where is that hatch anyway? Could all we've just been through just be hallucinations - as in late side-effects of that previous gas-poisoning? And if so - where did this bottle come from then?
Either way, I'm hungry. To the lighthouse!

Munchies are good. Agreed! To the lighthouse, ho!

See that blinking light over to the left, Shazz? Just drive straight on till it becomes green, then turn directly towards it - that would be backboard...

*Lifts *
I would , but I think that Gwennie has charge of the APC again... that is if everyone is prepared to risk it after what happened earlier!
Just don't press any 'don't press this under any circumstances' buttons, levers, switches and you'll be fine Gwennie

*Puts on safety belt, helmet, earplugs, mouthpiece, welders glasses, asbestos-gloves, crutch-cup...*

I prefer to drink my beer from a glass!
*Fastens safety belt* Go Gwennie!

*Digs out a blender and makes a big batch of margaritas... Pours out one for self into a salted glass.*
Anyone else?

Great idea Mari-rae
I think Gwennie is having a quiet atm, so we may as well take advantage of the respite and have a few pre-dinner drinkies.

Well, allright then. If you insist
Maybe I should try to steer this vehicle for once? Can't be much more difficult than steering a four-masted tallship through a storm in the biscayan bay?

Hmmm... fair enough , but could you go easy on the rocking motion please... I don't want to spill my drink.

Just shake you booty to the rythm, baby
* steps on two pedals and the APC shoots forward with at roar like a dozen hungry bengal tigers on ecstacy*
Whoohoo - and up she rises!

*Shazz falls in a heap on top of Linus, Kes, Wowbagger and Mari-rae*
*'s fly everywhere and the APC soon starts to smell like the inside of a rather poorly run brewery.*
Ouch!

Not to worry, folks! Going this speed we'll be at the lighthouse in no time - and I have it from reliable sources that the fishermen in the village near by have lots of fishes, lobsters and other fruits of the sea. Do we have enough in the fridge, you think?
Just hold on to your neighbour!
*The APC moves a long at an incredible speed, sometimes leaping several metres thorugh the air when driving over larger rocks*

* puts a tape in the deck and adjusts volume. Soon the noise of the engines are hidden behind Steppenwolfs "Born to be Wild" and Springsteens "Thunder Road"*
Hey, somebody fetch me a little fluid? I'm getting dehydrated here!
Oh, I see the light from the lighthouse has turned green. Hold on! *turns the APC left so sharp it almost tilts*
ETOA 01:00 hour - and counting

Wooooooooaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!
*Tries to crawl to the barfridge to replenish 's drink, but suddenly finds herself on the opposite side of the APC*
Steady on! We're not in THAT much of a rush surely?
*mutters... I preferred it when Gwennie was in control*

*mutters "backseat-driver", but so low that Shazz can't hear it as he doesn't want to upset her...
...before she has fetched him something to drink*

*Finds a huge bottle of best Jamaican Rum which has appeared from nowhere... replenishes 's glass, then thinks better of it having ears like a hawk and eyes like a bat (!)*
Here ya go Pierce... catch!
