We all need an angel every now and then, this is either now, or then

Dear Angels,
I suffer from sporadic creative blocks and need you guys to cheer me through it. Basically, every now and then you should make me feel a teensy bit guilty about logging on. Encourage me to flick back to word and wrestle with my assignment until I'm kneeling on its windpipe.
All the best,
Android

In the words of Radiohead, angels....
Where are you now when I need you?
I've mocked up the document with subheadings; that's progress!

What do you mean "you are at"? Cyberspace isn't that simple! I don't know what the record for multiple-URL-use is but it's certainly above one!

You could try asking for it to be published in <./>ThePost</.>. See U54963 for submission details.

maybe you should first put something in your personal space, so you can be welcomed properly.
The entry seems just a start at this moment. Have a look at <./>contribute</.> to see what is expected of entries before you put them up for review by others.

I've recently been spending more time around h2g2, and I'm really enjoying it! However, there's an issue bothering me, and I could use some help from a Guardian Angel!
I've run across another researcher who seems to do quite a lot of trolling and flaming. S/he (gender unknown) solicits opinions, then slams people when they offer theirs. This seems to be a pattern of behavior, rather than a solitary instance.
So, I'd appreciate some guidance as to how to defend my right to my own opinion, without sinking to flaming myself. Or de-railing a thread by getting into a personal squabble. Also, at what point (if any) does flaming become a "Yikes"-able offense? I want to get along and make friends here, but I don't appreciate bullies.
On an unrelated topic, is there any etiquette I should be aware of about reading journal entries? Is that considered a good way to get to know other researchers, or is it bad manners to read the journal of someone you are not acquainted with?
I would appreciate your thoughts, 's!

I think you have been coping quite fine with the situation. People like those are looking for trouble. If you can ignore them - fine. If you feel offended - the -button is there. Mods make their decision.
As about journals - this place is public and if I write anything in my journal I keep in mind that everybody can read it. Quite some people pop in there out of blue and actually I am glad about it.

Warrior Ranger, everybody here is allowed to have its own opinion and tell it to others, even if those others disagree. It is not allowed to be continuous derogative toward others and their meaning.
Normally it is the job of the ACE's to try to calm things down, but they first need to know about it. Can you give the U-number of the one you have problems with? Maybe you can also vent your concern to Abi U281 on her space.

That would be a correct guess, Hati.
I'm just getting involved around here, and I want to find myself a niche. Starting trouble for "veteran" researchers certainly wouldn't help that project along. So please don't take any action just on my say-so. I'm guessing, though, that I'm probably not alone in my distaste for some of the postings I'm reading.
I'll do my best to avoid/ignore/etc. I just wondered if there was anything else productive to be done. I think what got to me the worst was when I offered an olive branch and agreed to disagree (because I was getting aggressive myself ) I basically got it thrown back in my face and told to act like an adult.
Thanks for your assistance, and I look forward to getting to know everybody!
