Old farts ale was suprizzingly good as well might have to pop out tonight to my local real ale pub (well the nearest of the few we have round here), normally ten or so differnt (frequetnly changing) real ales to choose from

Sadly there are NO real ales in the states.
Everything has to be pasturised and pressurised and homogenised.
There are no gravity taps to be found from coast to coast...

Not heard of it. Mainly stick to Badgers and occasionally Guiness. That list will probably expand once I'm officially a student

I don't like Guinness here... Keep in mind it's pastuerised over here. As are all the others. So, it's hard to know which ones will taste better compared to your side of the pond.
