xxxxxxxxxxxx Posted Jul 16, 2005
Hi everyone, am manicured, pedicured and my hair has been put up so just my make up left to do(the natural look takes at least 30 mins to achieve)It is a beautiful sunny day and a slight breeze for the kilts
Hope you all have a pleasant Saturday and enjoy whatever you do
Eh?
flakey-lady.... you lookin' at me punk? Posted Jul 16, 2005
yes ash it does seem a tad confusing.....
hope you had a good day wildam no too much imbibing of the hard stuff or else you'll suffer for it...but just make sure you drink loads of water...
well another hot day...nice breeze some of the time, my hubby has been ill thinks its something he ate...but i'm fine so could be just the weather...he hates the heat...
thornyguy any particular field you'd prefer....gp? paeds, surgeon etc or did you mention pharmacy before...nowadays a good pharmacist also has to dispense advice... my local pharmacist milly is excellent very helpful....i believe phamacist will be required to undertake even more responsibilities in the near future, just can't remember what they are, but its to help the burden on doctors...
also prescription prices in wales are very low...now only £4.00 how much is it in england now....just curious
oh, in biology.
Ash Posted Jul 17, 2005
Last time I was ill a 'scrip cost something in the region of £6...(That's per item of course).
Genetics is fun but it's the reason I never finished my biology 'A' level, cutting out a photocopied picture of each of the human chromosome and having to pair them up was ludicrous...(Obviously I did get it wrong but seriously I couldn't see the point or what they were trying to prove)....
Turns out wasn't really me afterall.
Thorn Posted Jul 17, 2005
Sorry WildA. I had confused things with this book i hadf read once a really long time ago. Maybe you and Ash once met my ancestor though, he was this really cool 16th Cent. swordsman.
Aagh not again.
Thorn Posted Jul 17, 2005
Anyways, i would have liked to have gotten to have met that dude. Maybe he fought a bunch of s, like those type of people always do in stories.
Aagh not again.
Ash Posted Jul 17, 2005
It's not inconceivable, he may have even been in a duel or two....
Aagh not again.
flakey-lady.... you lookin' at me punk? Posted Jul 17, 2005
can't stop as litlun is having a tantrum...she saw an ear wig on her arm in bed and is wide awake...would like to comment on strange and wonderful convo but no time to devote..still carry on by all means and i'll try and work it out tomorrow
Aagh not again.
Prince_of_shadow Posted Jul 18, 2005
And Prince of Shadow returns from his self imposed exile to the sound of a thousand trumpet fanfare. His ego rejuvinated he elects to enter the realm of mortals once more. (It is so fun to write about yourself in third person, you should try it someday.) Please bring me up to speed on events past.

In the beginning, there was void...
Actually it depends on your viewpoint, personally I'd opt for the more scientific big bang theory....
Did you want me to go back that far?
Things have taken a confusing turn of late and WildA disappeared after going to a wedding, she is either very hungover or has become entangled with someones kilt...
Flakey Lady has earwig problems and one of Thorns ancestors was a notorius or a naval officer who killed many men in duels...allegedly.

Ash Posted Jul 18, 2005
Really WildA, I'm just trying to "big" the poor old chap up a bit...
You must remember him... Something about stealing carrots and waving a sword about claiming to be the once and future king....
Of course I might have the wrong person there, my memory gets a bit vague after 5 mins these days let alone a few hundred years
Did you get lost in a kilt????

I am a tad disappointed you have no questions for me ...
There again I'm not great at answering questions...
42?
Aagh ,not again.
Thorn Posted Jul 19, 2005
I bet you he was more likely to have fought some bandits, than s. Can just see the guy with some big claymore, yelling out some rallying cry. If I remember right, on a coat of arms that might be the little latin enscription thingy, that's opposite the family name, no? If he owned land in a valley though, then he might have spent most of the time inland. Then again, he might have been somewhat of a highwayman himself, for all I know. hrmmm...
