That, aside from the money throwing money at things to make up for "strategy-skill" (, I guess you could call it?) aspect was part of why I'd eventually given up at TCGs.
.
They >can< be fun, don't get me wrong there.
But there are more creative and less expensive ways of playing strategy games or RPGs out there as well.
Hmm...

There was a typo up there. Makes better sense if one of the "money"s is taken out of the sentence.
Silly me.

I have meet people who are like me (buy em cheap and play for a laugth) So their all not that bad. BTW WHAT IS YOUR BEST COMBO
Magic the gathering: TCG
rebAL (NTO) Posted Aug 6, 2006
MY BEST COMBO IS: Death Gazer and The nemesis mask. The Death Gazer is a 2/2 black, lizard who if he blocks or becomes blocked, removes that creature from game. The nemesis mask is an artifact equiptment that forces ALL the opposing creatures to block the equipped creature if they can. SO IMAGIEN YOUR OPPONENT HAVING 6 CREATURES READY TO BLOCK YOUR 6 CREATURES AND INSTEAD THEY ALL BLOCK DEATH GAZER..........6 OF YOUR OPONNENTS CREATURES, GONE........MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Gosh, I haven't played in like so long.
Lol.
Let's see... in theory...
Whip- out an Apocalypse from Tempest... to remove all the permanents... or perhaps it was destroy, then lay down a sixth edition Forbidden Crypt to draw cards from out of the graveyard instead of the deck pile.
Shrug, then... using red spells for damage dealing and black spelss for messing around with discards,- you could pull a whole lot of different options on to the table,- and...
possibly just go at/attack the opponent at your own leisure for awhile. *shrug* so to speak.
Nah, that sounds alittle too oversimplistic. Humm...
Might want to later get back to you on that one, after thinking out/through another one.
Glad you found a crowd/group of people from within there,- who turned out to be ok.

Or maybe it was seventh edition.
Hmm...
Yeah, that does sound good/nice.
Black and red interplay together kind of well sometimes.
Certain creatures that benefit from the graveyard population increasing too.
I could go all old school, and use a Bone Mask from Mirage in combination with an old 4th Edition Armaggeddon Clock. That way, as long as it was in play and with doom counters on it, I'd discard cards,- where everybody else would be taking damage from it instead, unless they took precaustions or procedures to make their sides immune as well.
huh.

on this board, go on EVERYTHING and type MAGIC THE GATHERING in search and look for the MAGIC THE GATHERING UN SET guide, its the funniest thing ive seen, he reckons theirs silver GOTCHA cards that tell your opponent to TALK PIG LATIN and another that tells your opponent to DROP THEIR PANTS, he says that is DCI ILLEGAL, he truly believes it an all

Which expansion block is the best? .....for me its the jokey UN SETS and the multicolored RAVINCA BLOCK

Thorn Posted Sep 15, 2006
Unhinged must be a later cersion, or some sort of a spin-off series to that old set, the one there may have been two versions of: Unglued.
I think there might have been an Unglued 1 and 2.
Not sure.

Humm... well, after I got past my TCG phase...
Hmm, well...
It was partly because of Magic and the other card games,- some of which I only looked at but didn't know how to play, like Star Wars and Dragonball Z,- that got me into thinking: Hey, wouldn't it be a fun idea to make my own RPG or a strategy game?
<- I still think I would like to one of these days.
Glad you had found something funny, thathad made you laugh.
I've been gone for awhile. Tying up some loose ends here and there in different places.
How have you been?
