Isn't it funny when you think you can find a lot of something and it turns out to be wishfull thinking! Most of the Sanskrit words I found are linked to Greek, Latin and English.

From Sanskrit
bhU - arise , come into being , exist , be found , live , stay , abide , happen

Welsh
byw - alive, live, living, quick, animate

English
be - to be

Sanskrit
urvii - heaven and earth

Welsh
wybr [-au, f.] (n.) sky

cwthwm - puff of wind

Sanskrit
kuTheru - wind produced by a fan

I found an interesting site @ https://www3.nationalgeographic.com/genographic/atlas.html howing the spread of Haplogroups.
The frequency of M343(Haplogroup R1b) is 70% in southern England and over 90% in Ireland. The genetic marker M343 appeared 35000 years ago and is a descendant of M173 (Haplogroup R), M45 (Haplogroup P) and M9 (Haplogroup K). M20 (Haplogroup L) known as the Indian Clan settled in India about 30,000 years ago and is directly descended from M9.

"Oil drillers have struck dinosaur off Norway, the Research Council of Norway announced this week.

Found 1.4 miles (2.3 kilometers) beneath the North Sea, the fossil find marks the world's deepest known dinosaur, researchers say."

Where on that page?

Besides... always keep in mind that according to, say, Malthius, we should all have perished of death and famine long ago. I tend to be skeptical about doomsday predictions. They've been around since armeggedon was predicted.

The thing about the debate on global warming that makes it so pointless to fence with sources is that each study completely ignores the evidences of the others and presents its own.

It reminds me of the arguement over weather Jefferson kept a slave mistress. I read one article that brought lots of statistics and circumstantial evidences proving nearly beyond a doubt that he did. Then I read in another book a completely different set of evidences - introducing different factors such as his philanderer nephew - that proved nearly beyond a doubt that he didn't.

Neither article mentioned any of the evidence presented by the other, neither answered the evidences presented by the other.

That's pretty much how the global warming arguement works. So I just beleive that it's all bunk and time will tell. In the mean time, being environmentally friendly can't hurt.

"How you feel" should not be a justification/excuse for how one acts.
Say I felt like shooting someone (which I don't, btw)... of course everyone would still say it was a terrible thing and I would have to go to court and most likely be put in jail.

And yet, screaming, yelling, and suing people as well as hitting them over the head until they are forced to agree with you... by this logic,- is potentially not only acceptable and encouraged, but in practice is actually sadly common.

Dr Jeffreyo

I think people who feel like shooting other people should join the military, at least there when you start shooting at the wrong people you're very likely to be permanently removed from the gene pool.

We see what we believe, and not just the contrary; and to change what we see, it is sometimes necessary to change what we believe.

Wouldn’t a theological debate would be about the nature of God and a debate about the existence of god such as this be more of a philosophical debate?

Pretty much correct, Wantaway - but over the years it's covered everything you can imagine and some you can't!

Hi Della smiley - biggrin

And all our christian readers...

I was wondering what you thought of this:

> As George Grant, former executive director of D. James Kennedy's influential Coral Ridge Ministries, wrote in his book "The Changing of the Guard:"

"Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ -- to have dominion in civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness.

But it is dominion we are after. Not just a voice.
It is dominion we are after. Not just influence.
It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time.
It is dominion we are after.
World conquest. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish."

I should point out that this kindly old gent is one of GWB's most influential backers...

On last nights Heresy, Radio4 6.30, David Baddiel read out an email from Justin. It was about 4 minutes into the programme about religious tolerance, "...should people respect the opinions of religious people...". After reading it he said he would not respect any opinion of Justin's.

the ideas raised up then difused like in this conversation , all the steps are man made, one word come outta of ur mouse could get big as the earth, cracking all the truth foundation.
death is only thing truth about this life, cannot play with it, we really should be carful how to think to approach.
