That's nice. Unfortunately, I can't welcome anyone now, people want this computer to work on, but I did welcome a few people at the weekend.

Does it annoy everyone if I welcome people from the who's online list?

Not at all, the faster we can get 'em the more likely they are to stay!

OK. It's just I find it easier that way

I find that whenever I visit someone from the who's online list they've already been visited.

That often happens, but I don't care. I've been lucky with a few so far.

I think the point is that you do a bit of both. Welcome some off the who's-online-list and some from the forum-list. That way no-one will get missed and everyone does the same amount of work. Although I may be wrong.

The list of newcomers is much easier, as they are all linked.
Just click, read, type, post.
Although I am sure we GA's upset the ACES using their forum.
I've suggested we use seperate forums, for taking out the Blocks, what do you think, St.Silly Willy?
The ACE/GA's could post to both...

vegiman:-)

I was always proud of the fact - this was one of the only places Aces and Angels met up and worked together.

All that has now gone and the newcomers can now be greeted at:
http://www.h2g2.com/newusers
The new automated page

Thanks for all your support in the past and I will no doubt see you around h2g2

Catch you on the flip side

Explain what, Clelba?
Can you be more specific?
My pages are taking forever to load too.smiley - blue
Maybe it's overuse-of-smileys-syndrome.
Am I the only person who *likes* the new automated page?
It's so ~easy~, simple, just select, click, look, there you go. One star, they have activated their page, but no-one's greeted them yet, 2 stars they have been greeted at least once...
And no more having to take out batches at a time.
Thank you vegiman for all your hard work, and also Abi when she stepped in when you were away.
*hugs* to you both, you did a great job!
*flies off to greet some newbies*smiley - flyhi
