I don´t think that whatever s**t you use, it´s any worse than alcohol... I quite like alcohol in it´s various servings, but I´m not apt to jump to grass and the lot...

I don´t think you have to try everything to say something about it... To much has been tried on animals with lethel effect - so I kind of wouldn´t want to have experience with e.g.: strichnin

It´s more a question of what´s acceptable... Hey, Pan... what ARE you looking at smiley - bigeyes

This place is getting very odd.

Oh, in relation to the marijuna thing, there's a big debate at the moment about drugs in Britain and it seems the main reason people think marijuna should be banned is that it leads to harder drugs such as heroin, rather than being life-threatening in itself.

My view is that the people this happens to are normally people with addictive personalities, so that if they didn't have an escalating drug habit, would probably be drinking or smoking themselves to a slow painful death rather than taking this rather quicker route to a still painful demise.

To argue that marijuna should be illegal as t leads to harder drugs seems an odd argument- in Holland it is legal and there are fewer drug related deaths- if it were not illegal, there would not be the same stigma attached to seeking help for addiction. If you seek help for alcoholism, you get it. If you seek help for drug addiction you get taken to court or sent to jail. You are punished rather than helped.

That's just my opinion, feel free to disagree.

I believe that the whole drug discussion is - if one would go by cause and effect, i.e. what causes people to die, no one would have the idea to let cars be illegal, just because so many people a year die in accidents. And there´s far more people dying from being hit by coconuts then by any desease you could catch in the apropriate contries...

I can see that there´s a history behind drug abuse. And in our case it´s mariujana being treated as the illegal whatever. And a lot of people seem to just be intersted in drugs, because it´s something to annoy adults. Why do people take drugs on a regualar basis? Why do people drink themselves blind? I guess it´s a whole tangled up mishmash of things that would need sorting out, and drugs just give you the cool to survive it... Or you do it as others drink a glass of wine... But I suspect that not many people are able to control their use of it, just as not a lot of people have control over the amount of alcohol they consume... just have a look at people in an old peoples home... Bunches of drug addicts, I bet!

A lot of things in the States are illegal until the age of 18 or 21... I think that causes a lot of problems. A lot. Thank you.

Actually I like that song "Wake up, and make love to me..." one of his best.

There´s a "tribute record" to Ian Dury about... I listend to it in a shop... real good cover versions by a whole line up of good musicians...
