The BBC better care what Lady K proposes and supports, or they will have s to deal with!!! BWAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAAA!!!!
Yes... , anyone!??
::Sophie runs towards Seth and jumps on his lap::
I can't tell you why kitty-cats look at you with interest, my dear lady K...

Well, I don't really know the bbc, being a canadian and all, but my guess is, whether or not they care, they're going to stick to their policies, and since 'we' are now a part of 'them', i don't imagine it changing a whole lot unless the Eds get so fed up with our complaints that they miraculously arrange to get bought by somebody with a better sense of humour... fat chance :-p
*grins at Sophocles as he gets fresh with Seth's bermudas*
see, cats always seem to do that to me as soon as I'm wearing something that doesn't stand up well to kneading!

d'oh! I KNEW I'd guessed wrong! *sigh* that's what happens when you miss out on entire months of conversation, you don't even know what gender the cats are...

Now that's a real smiley !! Any chance of ?
No, I'm sorry Lady K; I know little of the subjects mentioned; but I can whistle backwards a sort of ptheep ptheep sound through the gap in my front teeth which is not disimilar to the wail of a cat in heat. I may write a guide entry on the subject sometime.
I do like cats, though Treacle has taken to bringing in food to share, presumably to help with the household food bill. Currently, this contribution consists of live woodmice. An acquired taste.

Must multilingualism be confined to human tongues, D? Admittedly, my knowledge of Cattonese is somewhat limited, and the message sent may be a little confusing, but hey !! I'm never short of a friend !!

Never short of a friend... I used to talk to my cats!!! YAY!!!
If you wanted your precious cat to come to you, just go in the backyard and meow!!! It worked 95% of the time!!! I love that cat... But... he has been gone for years now...

Kes Posted Jul 7, 2001
Aw! There, there, D.
I always find that the best way to get a cat to come to you is to stand on the doorstep and make a noise like a can-opener ...

Why am I crying?
Did you know that this is called the 'Thunder Moon'
by some Native Americans? Pretty through that window
isn't it? I think I shall just sit here and relax...what WAS I crying about?

Ooh, I LOVE the Wizard of Oz! The Wiz is even better!
... you gotta ease on down, ease on down the road!...
Oh it's been so long!
Does it count as multilingualism if you talk to inanimate objects and/or plants? The inanimate objects hear and understand, I know, because they always do exactly the opposite of what I ask them to, and they make nasty comments about me when I'm not around to hear (I know, because they all go silent as soon as I enter the room)
