Well, I don't really know the bbc, being a canadian and all, but my guess is, whether or not they care, they're going to stick to their policies, and since 'we' are now a part of 'them', i don't imagine it changing a whole lot unless the Eds get so fed up with our complaints that they miraculously arrange to get bought by somebody with a better sense of humour... fat chance :-p

*grins at Sophocles as he gets fresh with Seth's bermudas*

see, cats always seem to do that to me as soon as I'm wearing something that doesn't stand up well to kneading!

Now that's a real smiley !! Any chance of ?

No, I'm sorry Lady K; I know little of the subjects mentioned; but I can whistle backwards a sort of ptheep ptheep sound through the gap in my front teeth which is not disimilar to the wail of a cat in heat. I may write a guide entry on the subject sometime.

I do like cats, though Treacle has taken to bringing in food to share, presumably to help with the household food bill. Currently, this contribution consists of live woodmice. An acquired taste.

Must multilingualism be confined to human tongues, D? Admittedly, my knowledge of Cattonese is somewhat limited, and the message sent may be a little confusing, but hey !! I'm never short of a friend !!

... you gotta ease on down, ease on down the road!... smiley - musicalnote
Oh it's been so long!

Does it count as multilingualism if you talk to inanimate objects and/or plants? The inanimate objects hear and understand, I know, because they always do exactly the opposite of what I ask them to, and they make nasty comments about me when I'm not around to hear (I know, because they all go silent as soon as I enter the room) smiley - winkeye
