*looks at the still shivering green furry thing* Do you think perhaps it took me literally when I told it to chill out?

*strolls into the bar, see's all the lights out, the place is empty...*
Now this just isn't right! What's going on around here? Where is Thog? Where is Lurcher? Who's been feeding the fridge?
* to the liquor store and picks up several cases of , enters the bar, turns all of the lights on. As she walks around the bar towards the fridge it gives out a sad pitiful whimper...*
Oh - poor dear! Here, I've brought you some . *she opens the fridge door and unloads several cases of various onto the fridge shelves. As she closes the door the fridge emits a satisfied . She takes a bar cloth and polishes up the exterior of the fridge so it's shiny again. While she's polishing off the last bit of the chrome on the handle, the little green furry thing rubs agains her shin and mewls. She ruffles up its fur, pets it and gives it a couple of lipsticks out of her purse to munch on. It scampers off under the bar with a happy growl.
She calls Thog, Lurcher, FABT, Dragonfly and Batty and leaves messages for them to meet her at the bar. In the meantime she snaps her fingers and the broom, mop and dust cloth get busy brightening the place up a bit...

Glad to see the old place looking a bit more *lived in* Michele
You know, what this place needs is another Wartopotamus, house trained, of course.
Be company for that wee furry thing
But, then again...not everyone`s cup of tea, Wartopotami...
* settles down with a few s and a copy of the Concise Oxford Dictionary (can`t stand those books with no plot) *

Hi ya sweetie!
*grabs and and sits down next to Lurcher*
Personally, I think wartopotomi are very misunderstood. I find them quite pleasant company - once you have have them on a "non-combustive" diet...
Ande we still need a cook, at the little green furry thing is afraid of the kitchen now
And Bob only knows where Thog ran off to - I suspect he was abducted by aliens

That`s done the trick, I`m now moving smoothly along at 3wpm on the Richter scale, fingers fair flowing over the keys
BTW, what`s happened to Thog, he seems to have been AWOL for some time now. The bank has hardly had any withdrawals lately!!

Batty_ACE Posted Jun 27, 2002

He's not really dressed for anything now is he?
*Pours herself a cup of , grabs the bottle of Irish Cream and brings it over to the table with her coffee. Pours some into the drinks a few sips, pour more Irish Cream in, drinks some more, pours more Irish Cream in...*
I love this! It tastes better as you get to the bottom of the cup! Although... come to thing of it, the cup never really gets empty...
Oh well...

Thog lives in an area of Colorado that has been hit by Wildfire. Most likely, if the fires are the cause of his absence, he is at an evacuated site or staying at someone else's house and lacks Internet Access... I'm sure he's ok... Most everyone in the state has had advance notice of the danger...
I am leaving tomorrow... behave yourselves!!! See you around the 18th!!!
