Me... no, certainly not...
Why I don't know simply *loads* of vegetarian German singers is a mystery.

Right , that was Beethoven, I think.
Later he changed his name into Beathoven, and founded the Beatles.

There was always that Guildo chap (and the surgical stockings?) who represented Germany at Eurovision a few years ago.. Wonder if he's vegetarian..

Why not?
I probably should be ashamed to say it but I watch Eurovision every year and will probably carry on doing so! (well, as long as Wogan's commentating on it anyway )
Get a few friends round, have a few drinks and it can't be beat! You can even place bets on how many of the conductors will wear silly bow-ties or what corny line the presenters will come up with next (the rhyming couplets this year added a whole new level of tack to the proceedings. Whoever they get to host the next one has a lot to live up to), not to mention all the political voting!
Only thing that's missing now is everyone tends to sing in English, so you miss all the wierd translation opportunities that the Ceefax subtitles normally managed...

Yes... Terry Wogan did a grand job this year. It's lovely to hear one of the mainstays of Eurovision being so cynical.
I'll almost forgive him for my 'waking up' with him everyday now.

Terry Vogon was great this year (even if I only read what he said ) and being a dane I think I should know

So, were the rhyming bits by the presenters any less corny in Danish?
Most bizarre moment of the last Eurovision for me was the two guys singing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' in the Gent's toilet on the backstage web-cam. Still have no idea who they were! The wonders of Internet broadcasting...
