Is this the Wellington on the Strand?

DD, I've not been to the Dome but I've seen the literature and there is virtually nothing there I am interested in seeing. Just a matter of personal taste I guess.

I didn't think much of the Dome either. Some stuff is OK but you have to wander through an awful lot of rubbish to get to it. A bit like the internet really
Ice skating... I agree with the general consensus so far: 'I can't skate but it sounds OK!'
If we go to one with a decent bar/cafe/area to sit and socialise that would be good. Although I'd be a bit worried about certain researchers having access to a bar all afternoon and then going to a pub for the evening as well... mentioning no names...

I hope I'm not one of them. I drink very little indeed. I find I can get far more cola for the same money, and I'm capable of finding the underground station afterwards.

I think you've just identified the reason why an activity is better that all day drinking. Some researchers are too young. It would be a shame to exclude them. Ice skating, softball in the park, bowling etc all make sure they can join in for part of the day at least.

Or, in the case of skating, fall flat on their faces and fail miserably at the activity, yet still have fun.

Well, I've already been ice skating once this year, and failed misserably so....
Besides I'd rather be somewhere warm.

Well, is an ice rink with a good bar okay then?
Or one of those places which has other stuff as well (bowling etc)

Alexandra Palace Rink has got a bar (but I can't help remembering that they have an age limit - perhaps I'm wrong). It also has the most fantastic views across London. It is also a bit of a distance from the centre, but I thought I'd toss it into the equation.

I haven't been ice skating in ages, so I'm looking forward to it.

When at work they're moping the floor, or when you are cleaning beneath the friers, you definately need ice-skates.
I think warm grease is slippier than ice, especially when mixed with water.

Yes, it's the Wellington on The Strand, or it was last year anyway
As for how difficult the quiz is likely to be, well we haven't done any questions yet, we're thinking about it (among other things) and all suggestions are welcome. Don't forget that the question mistress (Abi) is likely to have had a beer aswell, so nothing unpronouncable
