Dunno. Compared to the other thread this is exciting stuff.
This one's almost interesting

"Michael is a poultry judge and exhibitor..."
"The horse also drowned."

The musical connection is minimal. You really should train your mind on other things.

They all wanted to be train drivers when they grew up!!!

I cannot believe this. I genuinely thought it was an easy question.

Ah-hah. Someone's clicked, have they?
To explain:

James Red Angus (James the Red Engine)

Henry Green (Henry the Green Engine)

Harry Edward Blue (Edward the Blue Engine)

Gordon's Big Fan Fiction Page (Gordon the Big Engine)
I also gave, as another example:
http://www.sanfranciscobay.sierraclub.org/yodeler/html/1998/12/15.htm
Oliver West (Oliver the Western Engine)
The indisputable connection is of course Thomas the Tank Engine, although I'm disappointed that the answer wasn't in the same oblique fashion as the question, say:

Over to you, Seamus.

Sorry you were dissapointed B, but I was a bit short of time.
Great question though.
Anyhows, here goes with the next one.
What is the connection between, an island in the Mediterranean, one of Captain Bligh's Midshipmen's legs, and somebody's puppeteers?

According to http://www.mediterranean-yachting.com/Islands.htm there are 329 islands in the Mediterranean, so this q might take a while to solve

Pinniped Posted Mar 4, 2003
Google reports that one of Bligh's midshipmen, a Peter Heyward (?...somethin' like that, anyhow) had a Manx 3-legged thingy tattooed on his leg. Those things look like they might run and run, sure. And Manx Shearwaters breed in the Balearics. And there are about 20 hits if you put in "Manx puppeteers". Only trouble is, I don't understand any of them.
This is a mile out, innit? Still, we've only been at this Q for a few hours, 'stead of all freakin' week, and life is great...

Ah it's Pierson's Puppeteer http://www.larryniven.org/puppeteer/pupbod.htm
so the connection is three legs

Yeah, I hit post, went to make a cup of , and found they'd replicated in my absence. Must have been something to do with the seaman.
