Caer, the veggies here are misted regularly to keep them hydrated. And the red onions are right next to the Vidalias.
*Points to the sign over the counter for MR's benefit*
The 24-Seven declines to sell cigarettes.
You can smoke 'em if you gottem, though. Just use a VPB. Is Chef Boy-ar-dee okay? Just be careful with the microwave, it tends to overheat.
Z, I'm sure there must be beef and onion pot noodle in the Infinite Capacity Refrigerator. Just make you selection on the from panel. Items can be heated in the microwave, of course.
Has anyone seen Affy? He must have unsubscribed from this page. I better send him a message.

Or, you can make your selection on the front panel.

Sorry I'm late, guys. I decided not to go online much after the afternoon got here because the profs are starting to give me homework that actually takes a noticeable amount of effort to complete.
*Pulls a pre-packaged salad from one of the IC refrigerator and steps through the check-out auto-scanner before stepping back in. He sits and begins eating*
Ah....I've got no idea where you got this salad, Witty, but I can already tell it'll rock. Klaussen pickle spears, blue cheese dressing, jalapeno peppers, lettuce (naturally), green pepper slices....I've always preferred salads with this type of variety.

Do you have any Alka Seltza, Witty. I seem to be slightly headachy today.
No idea why...

Here you go, Greensleeves. Or would prefer a little hair of the dog?
Affy, I rigged the scanner to charge all sales to Oetzi's pan-galactic bank account until further notice.

I've just discovered that the off license on our parade of shops stockes Bailey's falvoured Haagen Das.. this is very very bad news...

egon Posted Jan 15, 2004
an off licence selling ice cream!?
IS it a national chain or a local one? If it's a national chain I might have to check out my local branch...
I better restock..
Z Posted Jan 15, 2004
I don't think it's a national chain - well it's recently become a Londis, but they're franchisted, and before that they were independent. Still run by the same people. THey're a general store as well as an off license. But we live above a general store so we only pop two doors down (a real walk) for booze.

egon Posted Jan 15, 2004
Hmm. i think there's a Londis over the other side of the River somewhere, but it seems a bit far to go on the off-chance that it's not just your one.
I'll have a look and see if they'vce got it in Tescos instead (Baileys ice cream does sound delightful!)

Z Posted Jan 15, 2004
Londis is just the name of the franchise for the news it's down to the indivdual shop what they actually stock, as opposed to the larger chains..
Or if you live near a small newsagent you could try being nice to them. Works very well until you leave your tap on and flood them..

egon Posted Jan 15, 2004
Fortunately I don't live sufficiently near the corner shop to do that.
You reckon I should sweet talk the family who run the Mowbray store then?

*Finishes off his salad and watches as its container simply vanishes*
Gotta love the attempts to reduce littering, these days. I guess the container wasn't platic after all.

*Browses the aisles*
Hey! An autobroom! Affy! Look at this! Remember inventing these things?
*Picks up the autobroom and looks at the tag.*
Mark 7. The first reasonably safe model. You just had to keep it away from, um, er. Something. Affy, do you remember what it was?
*Peers at the tag.*
We usually mention thing like that on the tag, but I guess we forgot with this one.
Oh well, it couldn't have been that important. You know, this could come in handy when we get back to the Atelier. I bet it's a mess up there.
