Friends, dear friends... how often have you been the victim of alien attacks?
Antisocial intergalactic menaces which steal your
newspaper and drop empty beer cans in your garden? Well, Eomando and Captain Al Boy can put a stop to all your woes!
Both candidates are students and are in a position to devote a lot of time to the community, fighting for all causes and badgering the Powers That Be on important issues.
They are also dedicated to researching "No Replies Syndrome"... the compulsive desire to see all your forum posts replied to before logging off.
Neither candidate is an ACE, a sub-editor, or a holder of any other official position - truly, they represent the common researcher.
With a history in a responsible position as deputy donut seller to the whole of h2g2, your presidential candidate Eomando has proved her worth time and again to the community, welcoming new researchers without even being bound to do so
by ACEshipShe has aided in endeavours such as The Doughnuts Are Not Enough (which she helped guide along all the way) and Joolsee's Landspeed
Record.She has also served admirably as the First Officer on the USS Esirpretne, helping save the
galaxy from the Horrible Somethings.Her running mate, Captain Al Boy, has been making the galaxy safe from Horrible Somethings for the last six months, leading an intrepid and varied team through many difficult situations.
As an h2g2 Guardian Angel, he also realises the importance of welcoming new researchers, although he is similarly not forced by ACEship to do so.
Together, Eomando and Captain Al Boy have pledged to further the goals of researchers old and new, all the while making the galaxy a safe place to
live in.
