Ahem, so is this where I sign up? I was referred and everything!
My powers are um... well I can stun people at fifty paces with my truly awful poetry, does that count?
And can I be called something awfully cool?

something awfully cool doesn't sound terribly heroic to me, but each to his own. you're in. come here for some no holds barred villain bashing. its quite carnage, so it may not be your cup of tea, but i like it.

I'm not entirely sure why I just called you that. I'm losing my mind. I will eventually update the page. Don't worry. You dont have to change your name - we accept all kinds.
And belive me, I can stomach bad poetry. Pretentious friends and all that. Oh God! flashbacks the horror the horror. and so on.

You're right, I WAS asking for it OK, you can call me 'Something Awfully Cool' if you like, but not in front of the bad guys I'm trying to instill fear in them.

[sea] fear? ha. an upset stomach, perhaps, but that hardly qualifies as fear.
*mental note: poetry woman= something awfully cool or some such nonsense*

*Peers at sea*
Are you a bad guy?!?
I bet there's a list of who's who somewhere I have yet to discover.
*Whips out a book of bad poetry just in case.
Then tosses it. Naaaaaaaaah.
Nothing could be worse than mine!*

I have a list, if you would just take a gander at my space.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am a super-villian, and as such my current task is to foil your henious plans of foiling my henious plans of world domination, preferably in an amusing and ironic way. So, I start out with pulling out one device which will completely nullify your so-called "super" power...
*NYC pulls out a walkman. He sets the volume to "air-raid siren", and starts playing Sevendust on it*
go on, do your worst.
*NYC grins*

*Gasp*, while I could never admit it, that dastardly villain's done me a good turn! I'm even on the list! How cool is that?!? I should thank him lots, and WOULD if our ideologies weren't so violently opposed to one another, and if I hadn't sworn to wipe him and all his kind off the face of the earth (or would so swear if there was anywhere to swear it)
The walkman blast hits Poetry Woman with a mighty THWAP!!! hurling her back into the air.
Could her mighty powers be thwarted so easily?!?! Of COURSE NOT!!!! We haven't had time to get to know her, to feel empathy with her, to produce intense misery by her death or ultimate defeat or capture at the hands of the villains!
She arms herself with the Shield of Dissonance, and hurls it straight at the walkman with stunning accuracy, the blow if it hits, at high velocity! (Being an Australian hero, the Shield is part-boomerang, and so returns to its owner once it has traversed its trajectory.
