Does the Doctor have to be a tall man though? I'm possibly in a minority here, but I really like Sylvester McCoy's Doctor (the Dark Doctor!), and he's just a little chap. Anyway, how tall is Mr Tennant?

And, it occured to me the other day, it can be said that the Doctor's regenerations see him getting progressively younger. Hartnell's Doctor is very old, Troughton's less so, and so on. Perhaps as a Time Lord nears the end of his regenerations, he ends up as a young lad! In which case, Tennant's looking like an even better proposition.

Um, not convinced by that.
Hartnel- Old
Troughton - middle aged
Pertwee- middle aged to old
Baker- early middle age
Davison - very young (29)
Baker - thirties
McCoy - middle aged

Ok, perhaps I didn't quite think that one through properly, but if you ignore the facts it's quite an interesting possibility!

If David Tennant is going to be the Doctor, he needs a hat.
The Moose has spoken!

Checking on the Internet Movie Database, Tennant is actually six foot one, so not as titchy as previously suspected!

Crikey, I wouldn't have thought he was that tall either, he did look rather dinky in Casanova. Maybe it was the tights making him look short

Billie Piper has now left the show. Although I didn't personally watch the cringe worthy cheesey show.

Yes I'm sure having watched a bit and other people agreed with me. These people happened to enjoy the series (unlike me) and said it had to be cringe worthy cheese as that allows for it to be in keeping with the old series.

Ah fair enough then
I dunno. I don't see it as cringeworthy. A lot of it is thought provoking, and I think as a general rule its family orientated. Personally, it seems to have something for everyone, and at least it isn't the same reguritated stuff that gets thrown out 99% of the time on television.
