Talking Point: Classic TV Revivals

34 Conversations

Actor Christopher Eccleston as the new 'Doctor Who'.

Unless you've spent the last month hiding on the planet Gallifrey, you can't have missed the fact that classic British TV icon Doctor Who is returning to Saturday nights on BBC One. With the revival of 1950s sci-fi horror series Quatermass also due to hit TV screens soon, what other programmes do you think should be exhumed from television's graveyard?

  • Were you a child of the 1980s and would love to see Thundercats brought back?

  • Have you ever wished that TV bosses hadn't cancelled Bullseye?

  • How about a new series of Tenko or Man About The House?

  • Is your life incomplete without the adventures of The Avengers?

Tell us which programme you'd bring back if you were in charge of a TV channel. What is it that made the programme so special? Why would it appeal to today's audiences? Who would you cast in the lead roles?

Join in this week's Talking Point and share in the warm glow of nostalgia!
