How far have you all travelled from?
I'm in the UK, somewhere around the middle.

Itzcotl Posted May 1, 2004
Man those sausages are good! Hold on I think i've got some buns in my tent. Back in a minute!

Itzcotl Posted May 1, 2004
*Runs back out of breath, throws bun package on ground* I'm from Wisconsin, in the states. Isn't it like Midnight in England right now? *begins cooking hot dog on pointy stick*

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 1, 2004
11.15 pm in the UK, past midnight at my place CEST (Central European Summer Time)
*toasts hot dogs and meatballs on a stick*

JulesK Posted May 1, 2004
It's just after eleven pm.
*chops an onion*
Why are these things so much trouble (but so lovely) ?!
*Assembles bun, sausage & onions*
Mmm, lovely!

*Puts three ounces of Habonyero peppers, ketchup, on hot dog, bites, ears begin to steam, runs down to lake, sticks head in, drinks half, comes back* says: Isn't that a bit late to be posting to a vertual campsite about onions?
The Bonfire
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 1, 2004
A bit late? Sure, but tomorro- *checks time* - sorry, today is Sunday, day off, so it doesn't really matter...
*mixes 7up and vodka*

Itzcotl Posted May 1, 2004
Good point. Does anyone have any good music (that means no pop)?
The Bonfire
JulesK Posted May 1, 2004
A bit late for what?
Yum, that's better.
*Opens another can of cider*
I don't usually drink this stuff anymore in RL but it seems a good round-the-campfire drink.
Talking of round-the-campfire - are we having a singalong later?
The Bonfire
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 1, 2004
OK, here's how it works...
...you want music, you play music (in person or on tape or whatever)
...you want singalong - you start singing
If you want something to happen, then you're the one responsible for making it happen, simple as that - don't sit around waiting for someone else to make things to happen!
*starts toasting some marshmallows*

Itzcotl Posted May 1, 2004
*runs back to tent, grabs kerioke machine* Says: Good idea, for people who cant dance (like me) they can sing (which also counts me out) for us. We just need some C.D.s. *Eats another *
The Bonfire
JulesK Posted May 1, 2004
OK Titania, I was only asking!
In the UK singing round a campfire is generally thought of as an embarrasing pastime, so I was suggesting it as a joke, really. If I want to sing, I will, don't worry.
Itzcotl - do we need music-only CDs for karioke? I haven't got any of those.
The Bonfire
Itzcotl Posted May 1, 2004
*Grabs Karioke Machine and throws it into the bonfire* Says: Sorry, bad idea, I forgot we were here to be in the outdoors.
Key: Complain about this post
