Do you think introducing a moon could help? I could also change the tent colours to warmer ones if you think that might help, though they are a nice simple traditional one right now.
I could also make the text a friendlier font/colour. Do these things sound plausible?

Hallo people and sorry for not acting on anything for a long time. I thought it was pretty clear that you didn't like the last design at all, so assuming you're still interested I've done a totally new banner which is available for your perusal here:

Is it any good? I've know idea where the gnome thought came from, just seemed to fit the composition.
