h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Big crackling fire, food and drink, boisterous singing - I expect people will notice and drift in. Besides, there's a bit of a chill in the air - a crackling fire sounds wonderful!

Even Cleo has come down off my neck and is enjoying the heat. She's looking like she might curl up at my feet and nod off.

*Sits down by the warm fire, opens a bottle of Red Square and discreetly skins up*

Ahhhh, a nice warm fire to warm my toes by, what could be better? This tramping about in hideous weather si doing me no good I swear! Mind if I join you Bob?

*sits down on one of the logs and drinks out of a thermos full of piping hot coffee, laced with generous helpings of whisky*

Ohhh. that's lovely. Now all we need are some marshmallows...

A-ha!
*Pulls out hip flask and bag of marshmallows*
*Opens bag and places it on a log, gets a marshmallow on a stick and starts to roast*

Hiya, a nip of Baileys if you want it?

*Takes a nip and offers some to Napnod.*

*Sparks up joint, silently makes enquiring face at Napnod to see if he/she? would like any*

I'm alright with my coffee for now, ta!

*gets a stick of her own and pops a marshmallow on it and starts setting fire to the marsmallow*

Mmmm lovely, all burnt on the outside, just about melting on the inside!

Oh... and it's a she, by the way, and if it's going spare, I wouldn't say no.

*ears prick up at the mention of marshmallows*

Mind if I join you Bob??


Wouldn't mind a nip of your Baileys, and maybe a bit of the smokeable...

Here you go, Leopardskinfynn, would you like to use my stick for the ritual burning of all things marshmallowy? It's ready marshmallowed!

*Passes the Marshmallows around*

*Takes a couple more tokes and passes the joint on*

*Sits and watches the embers of the fire*

*adds some more logs*

Nice fire people...

*offers round some mulled wine or hot chocolate*

Ill have a hot choc please.

*Accepts hot choc and adds a generous measure of Baileys*

I'd like a hot chocolate too, please.

*pours out some hot chocolate from her flask*
mini marshmallows, cinnamon, whipped cream?

Whipped cream would be great, if it's not too much trouble.
