Did you throw it back in or cook it? Can I have some?

* Barbecue's fish on slow barbacue, till its smoked and blackened *
Here you are.
Would you like some relish with that ?

How delicious! Many thanks
By the way...was it a rather dainty boot that you caught? (I lost one while turning a cartwheel by the lake in a fit of exuberance the other day)

Fine Strider. Would you like some blackend Catfish ?
I've not been around the campsite for ages. I forgot I was here...

Blackened Catfish? I prefer mine slightly browned, thanks. It might work surprisingly well as charcoal for a barbecue, though.

If it's not too much to ask, could I possible have some catfish with one side blackened and the other raw? I like to have some sort of equelibrium within my food.

Come over to my place abd I'll give you food which is blackened on the outside and frozen on the inside. The microwave just never seems to do the defrosting job properly...

My microwave just turns everything you put into it into a soggy mess.

Good one Strider
I'd be better off without a Microwave. It was just one of those things that you get given at Christmas.

Yeah, I've been in houses with them. Despite your best intentions, you always end up using them constantly.
