Ooooh, Kissies! I likes kissies!
I'm turning into a ! Went to bed at 6am, for no apparent reason cept Bacardi, and didn't rise til sun'd gone down today. I like it!! Nasty rainy day anyway so not missing owt!
So, anyone thought of Christmas yet? I bought an Advent tree yesterday (bit late but anything else I saw had chocolate in it and I object hugely to the whole concept!!) This is a little wooden 3D Christmas tree with 24 little angels/snowmen/penguins etc to hang on and a big star to put on the top on Christmas day! Looks a bit bare with 4 decs on it so far but will be gorgeous come the day!
Weather was so pish, can't dry my washing outside and had to zip to supemarket and buy some potatoes, peppers, mushrooms and a new pair of cosy jammies (obviously, DDD only got to see the veggies or I'd be toast! He seems to think that 6 pairs of jammies are enough for any woman - he still has lots to learn!)

Silly boy!
It is raining at the moment but unfortunately it hadn't been windy enough to blow several trees across the road which seperates my house from the rest on the world. I had been hoping this would happen so I could go back to bed.

Bacardi sounds like a very good reason to stay up all night to me
I did give christmas a thought but soon realised I couldn't be bothered with it.... But it's the thought that counts isn't it

Being battered to bits by northerly gales - not sure I like this.
It transpires that the only things that got "lost" in transit are two crystal champagne flutes - which I can live without - and the chrissy decorations! I is about those

I bought a plain wreath today and have been subtly decorationening it with tasteful tartan bows!
Spit, the only thing that went missing in our shipment was the box of DVD's! We got the box, but nowt in it.
So if anyone knows anyone else who works at a UK docks, has lovely decorations up and loads of great films to watch over Christmas, send us his name, please!

The one joy of Cyprus is that phone calls are exceptionally cheap! It only costs 2 cents to send an international text and it costs about a pound to phone my sister on her UK mobile for an hour!
Got the Christmas tree out but it can't go up til Friday (tis my birthday and Deakie family tradition is that I put up the on that night)

tsk Ellie - you are not allowed sleep at this time of year!
My little sweetheart came back from town with new lights so I now have a festive curtain pole and a twinkly balcony. No tree - but you cant have everything!

I really do need to get organised soon. There is a tree holder somewhere on the premises and I really need to find it before it gets dark again!

Strangely enough I have had a pudding crisis. Originally decided not to bother with one as they are riduculously expensive over here. Then changed my mind to find they are sold out. Problems solved by Jnr bringing one out in his suitcase tomorrow!
Sure yours will be better Ellie so I'll have some with rum sauce now please.

I shall be having a chocolate fudge roulade thingy.
After the brocolli and stilon soup
The large salmony, prawny, nutty thing wrappred in puff pastry.
The garlicky roasties.
The cauliflower cheese.
The sprouts with leeks and almonds.
But before the huge cheese plate and several bottles of port.
That and Doctor Who are the only things I'm looking forward to!
