Hi all,
We need a theme for our home page http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A3678410
What should it be? I think a theme pub would be appropriate. What's your thoughts?

Hallo, another interfering h2g2 Ed here 
Not sure if you know this, but there are three official skin types for h2g2 (plus an unofficial one). The first h2g2 skin was 'Classic' (also known as Goo), which is on a blue background. Some people prefer this because it's easier on the eyes. Then there was Alabaster, which has an orange and green colour scheme. The most recent one, and the one we do development for now, is Brunel, which is the one with the rivets in the corners of the pages. If you prefer things nice and simple, just change the skin name in the URL (/h2g2/brunel/...) to 'plain' and everything will be really basic. Then, if you click 'preferences' in the menu bar, you'll be able to set 'Plain' as a preference.

one that looks like "Word" or "outlook" would be really handy but the one like "Access" would probably get me promoted

Been feeling somewhatlonely today. I think everybody has gone somewhere else and left me here all alone. Story of my life.
Our old home particularly inshospitable today. I've had 8 emails - a new personal best. Thread disappearing all over the place.
I must say it is very good of our hosts to stock the bar like this. Can I pour you one?
