Don't forget dopamine. That's what makes things feel good!

...sitting in front of a log fire and not thinking about who is going to have to clear the ashes in the morning.

it is testamony to the irrepressible good humour of this place that when some one wanders in and makes a bitter and twisted comment like that (for it was - never fear - deeply bitter and twisted) you lot come up with good things to say about it!

Mr Sapsea Posted Oct 12, 1999
with the high % scientists around here, most people
just nodded and moved on, not noticing any bitter/twistedness,
or am I just speaking for myself?

Vestboy Posted Oct 12, 1999
Despite this white coat and acid burns on my shoes I am not a scientist. I just like dressing up.

I'm lost.....
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vestboy Posted Oct 12, 1999
Where do you want to be Sidney? Maybe I could help you get there.

Sidney Kidney, AKA Gruby Ben, friend of Dirty Den Posted Oct 12, 1999
Do you have a fast car??
Love is...
Mr Sapsea Posted Oct 12, 1999
just follow someone, then at least you'll get somewhere..
..that should be in quotes as anyone who reads Mr Adams'
books will know

Vestboy Posted Oct 12, 1999
Have you ever followed a car out of a traffic jam because it looked like it knew a good short cut? Isn't it embarrasing when you have to reverse off their driveway?

Sidney Kidney, AKA Gruby Ben, friend of Dirty Den Posted Oct 12, 1999
I think yet again we have "lost the plot" !!!!
Love is...
Mr Sapsea Posted Oct 12, 1999
...my alter ego does that type of thing, just for fun.
I follow 'autoroute's' precise measurements...this is also
prone to leave you you stranded up someones driveway,
or in a field, circling some boring city for hours..

Vestboy Posted Oct 12, 1999
i think we should discuss unrequited love. Have you ever loved and not had it reciprocated? Have you ever been loved by someone you couldn't love back?
Answers on a £5 note...

Mr Sapsea Posted Oct 12, 1999
oh, unrequited love!!
thats the best, pure and pointless,
no alterior motives...
Love is...
Sidney Kidney, AKA Gruby Ben, friend of Dirty Den Posted Oct 12, 1999
Way way way too deep for me to get involved in....
Love is...
Mr Sapsea Posted Oct 12, 1999
I doubt it...I just think most love is symbiotic, I love my
cat, she loves me, we both get something out of it
(this could be applied to many cases of 'love')
But unrequited love helps no-one, so is more
honest, there's no alterier motive.
Mind you, its been about 13 years since I've experienced it,
and it was more fashioable then.

Zoom Whiz Bang!!
Oh it's fallen off!!

Vestboy Posted Oct 12, 1999
I think we should get some input from the beautiful people here. They'll tell us what it's like to be loved and not to love back. How do they cope with it?
