Our dog, Rufus (a Norfolk terrier), is a bundle of fur supported by hollow legs. But we love the way he goes berserk whenever we come home and can forgive him anything. (Messes on the floor when he was a puppy, chewed bits 'n' pieces that weren't meant to be chewed ...)
