No I did NOT threaten to take your job. Perhaps if you were paying more attention rather than spending all night up with Major...Khamsin, you would be able to pay more attention to what people are saying! Or are you going to wait until the day you accidently kill someone just because your ears were fatigued!?
Do you think you're the only one who doesn't have anything else around here? You aren't the only one who lives on base! You aren't the only one who has problems! Now I lost my sister to the flaming US army, and if you don't mind I'm not about to see someone else who was SUPPOSED to be my friend just go down for taking a little R&R with a cute Major!

R&R?
that man is impossable!
I was doing nothing more than making sure he didnt do anything stupid,
since i thought you were on duty last night,
technically i'm not on duty today at all!
I've worked every hour god sent because if i dont...
if i dont I'll let other things play on my mind,
I have no time for your troubles, go find a counceler!

Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
YOU were the one who started laying on the grief! If you're not on duty then get out and get some rest! Perhaps it will help unclog your ears a bit!

*gives up and goes to her private quarters*
Medical Bay
Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
*walks out of her quarters looking more the respectable doctor than shes done fot the past week*
Right,
wheres the world gone to?
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
*turns from xray light, glances at the clock and chucks a coat at Anthea*
Toss that in the washing for me would you?
Any ideas why she won't wake up? Oh and would you care to take a look at the skin grafting over the burn areas? It's been long enough now I think to take away the risk of peeling the new skin off.
Medical Bay
Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
very well...
*drops it into a case marked "Medical - to be cleand"*
now er...
oh yes the skin graft... thankyou doctor, you may continue with whatever you happen to be doing
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
<You need to grab some medical books Anthea!>
Could you help me by rolling her over this way so I can cut off the bandaging and then we'll have a look at the burns and then we'll take a look at the skin graft on her leg. None of these things are reason enough for her not to wake up though. Could there have been an adverse effect from any of our medications?
*cuts off bandaging to reveal crisp blackened skin and raw red oozing flesh underneath*
Well that looks pretty good considering...

Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
possably a double dose,
that is if one of the nurses had the same problem as you in reading the notes.
*wheels the bed over to Kat*
Right... er, cut it open then
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
*cuts bandaging off the Jaffa's leg*
I shall choose to ignore your comment on my expertise for the minute.
*peels off K-Band, packing, and gauze to reveal iodine gauze*
Okay are you ready for this? It may spray so you might want to stand over this side if that is clean clothing
Medical Bay
Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
*puts on some plastic gloves and smiles*
I think after so long doing this i know what to do thank you kat
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
Oh well alright then. I was just saying... however seeing as this patient is important and also currently our only one, why don't you take charge. I'll just stand here and hand you anything you need.
Medical Bay
Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
If I wanted someone to do that I would ask a nurse,
there much more plesent!
*gets on with the job at hand coldly ignoring kat and asking a nurse for certen objects of equipment as she goes along*
Medical Bay
Kat - From H2G2 Posted Dec 26, 2004
Right, well I'm glad that you are so certain what you are doing. However I would advise against using that as you are likely to rip the skin off.
Plus all the nurses are volunteers from other sections, so if you need any specific help you'll need me. However I'm sure you know that, I'm sure you know all that you are doing infact. The fact that plastic surgery and psychology are my consultation specialisations obviously means nothing.
I'll be over here if you need anything.
*grabs ANOTHER mug of coffee and starts peering in the fridge at her cultures*
Medical Bay
Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Posted Dec 26, 2004
*mutters darkly and gets on with it doing no damage to the jaffa as she does so*
I think Kat,
I should ask to get you tranferd before i do something highly unnesasary with a surgical saw!

*glances over her shoulder as she leaves the room*
I graduated first in Dr. Kahn's class at the Academy, I have majors in general medics, psychology, and plastic surgery. I was the youngest Fellow of the London Medical Associates. I have four publications which are lectured on throughout the world, and I have regular corespondents across the States in five major league universities. I also regularly contribute psychology articles to the BMJ.
I doubt that I will be transferred.
I also, by the by, have a black belt in Kenpo, Judo, and Savate.
