Are you sure? Shive likely has guards at his stargate as well, the MAL would be destroyed as soo as it went though.
The Tollan have attempted to obtain aerial photos from space, but all their spy ships were disabled somehow. We suspect guard satellites, though there could be another explanation.

We need an insider, but we can't get one until we have more information.
*sighs*
Well, if I'm leading this mission *with the connotation of train wreck* I need time to prep for it.
*Waits to be dismissed so she can head to the lab, and feed the new numbers she's worked out into the computer.*

I'm prepared to go to Shiva's palace with either Hussassan or another Tok'ra as they're they only ones who can get away with it, a few years ago I infiltrated Ba'al's temple as a handmaiden I learned much in that time and I'm prepared to put my knowlaedge to good use again to get into Shiva's place, all I need it A Tok'ra or Jaffa to get me in, present me as a gift or as an unemployed handmaiden, who have we killed recently

Ma'am, I'm afraid I can't contribute much more to this briefing session without the numbers I need from the landslide model. May I be dismissed to the lab?

Casualty rates would be to unpredictable to storm the gate. We wouldn't be able to hold it for long either, before being massivly outgunned.
Not much use sorry.

That's why I want to go for the subversive approch, maybe you could work with Major Scandrea, help her with ordinance, she'll need explosives and people who know how to handle them, could you help with that/
