isn't that impossible for an omnicient being?
Bruce Posted May 5, 2000
I think the problem is that part of the code should be in of a normal HTML page & the remainder in the section.
Unfortunately, h2g2 doesn't really allow HEAD & BODY sections in the pages.

Bruce Posted May 5, 2000
The page http://www.h2g2.com/A314731 works now - no red dot
Change the page type to HTML - make sure all the effect code is the very first part of the page - put a sat the beginning of the effect code like -
<!-- Original: Matt Gabbert ([email protected]) -->
<!-- Web Site: http://www.nolag.com -->
Put a at the end of the effect like this -
.
<!-- Script Size: 5.96 KB -->
& it should work

Which is an ever so slight problem as it involves changing everything.
Aw heck, I was thinking of changing it anyway. Add yet another thing to my list of weekend stuff...
Thanks Bruce

Don't worry St.Irving. It all took place under the mindnumbing effects of Rasputin's brew, it's simply a wonder they were able to communicate at all...

GOD Posted May 6, 2000
By the way, all this conjecture about the little red-dot can be explained in a completely rational explanation...
The 'Infernal One' (Shim) has been secretly watching you, the only reason it has disappeared, is that HE knows your on to him...

My father once used that in a court case... I don't remember what point he was trying to make...

Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted May 6, 2000
I've come here this evening for Devine Inspiration. I'm attmepting to write a song -- I've had a rather dry spell, creatively -- and I can't come up with any topic that really gives me the sort of flowing lyrics, melody, and guitar chords I've had on other occasions. Any suggestions, Lord?

Hiya Tweetie!
Hey Thistle! howya been?
Interesting choice on your new name, Angel! Maybe we shoulda named you Patron Saint of the Terminally Ticked Off! LOL!
Well, young ladies, obviously we felt the same way, or else we wouldn't have started a WHOLE NEW THREAD just for html. just remember, you want to try something, go ahead and talk to bruce about it. he's watching that thread now...
Now...
*Zax glances around the room, but doesn't see Ras anywhere... Checks behind the bar, and finds him slumped fast asleep on the floor, cradling one of Cloughie's familiars*
Huh. Figures. Lessee... anyone here want a couple o' regular drinks?
*starts taking down glasses and pouring out drinks*
Hurrry up folks! I don't want him waking up and finding me behind his bar!
