I am back at work. Meh. At least I am on my own sofa, working, "aided" by cat on lap at times. Next week begins with a 12 day work trip, to China again.

Me-ing en route back from Lübeck in Germany. We went down by train yesterday - always have been a nice mode of transport, I find. But our meeting today was done (went well btw!) earlier than expected so we decided to scratch on the return ticket and get a ride with a 3rd collague in his car.
He dropped us off at a Copenhagen metro station - so now I am in the regular commuter train (which has wifi) and will be home approximately when our planned train is due to leave Lübeck

Nice town Lübeck. Went there when it was in west Germany. I can remember passing the watch towers along the border as we went up the river.

Morning all!
Colds aren't good, especially when they seem to just drag on and not go away!
Been really busy myself, currently brewing to capacity and starting to take in orders for the beers on cask as well as bottles. If this keeps up it'll start to feel like a "proper" job!

Back home from China. If it weren't for the smog, I'd happily go back and spend tourist time there. Didn't have time for much of that on work trip.

Southbound from Manchester after the Beer & Cider festival, a good few days up here now back to the big smoke.
And the beer festival was great, the velodrome is an interesting venue and it works well despite the odd layout.
Plenty of excellent beers available.
Plus of course spending time with Pastey, Phil and co.

Had a lovely weekend with Mrs SG V and both kids, C & N. Fab stay and dinner at a lovely inn in Southern Jutland and today a walk out at the Wadden Sea (www.vadehav.dk - that's what they call it there) and lunch in Ribe which they say is the oldest town in the Nordic countries.
It was all a Christmas gift to me from them and marked that today, actually, the Mrs and I have been holdimg hands for 30 years (not literally.... )
