No miniature glasses to go with them though...

At 11pm it strikes me that they are worried that someone might listen. I hit iplayer while I did the washing up this morning. Not bad; I probably like the book too much to be easily endeared to the adaptation.

It's one of my favourite books as well.
So far it fits with my internal image of the book, which is good.

Oh, it's been raining here (at least, folks in different locations in the Northern California thread at that 
site have been getting lots of rain the last couple weeks--don't know about the southern third of the state, which is the bit everyone thinks of, plus maybe the Bay Area)

Just popping in to wish you happy winter festival of your choosing. 
R has been awake since 5.30am but thankfully has been distracted from opening any presents just yet! Hopefully everyone else will get up soon! Very rainy Christmas here so far.
