Pastey
Sorry to here that...
After you have paid the dentist you won't have any money for
I managed to avoid them for 20+ years then had to give in after an infection just over a year ago.
Now I've had to have loads done, including a couple of wisdom teeth out.
All I can suggest is find one who is generous with the local anaesthetic

The best thing to do is take the antibiotics, get well, and don't go back. Until you need to ie there's more pain
Talking of wisdom teeth, years ago I had the same thing, went to the Dental hospital in Manchester. They game me a script, I took the antibios and *did* got back. They took the tooth out - it was the molar at the very back. My wisdom tooth started to grow in it's place
I also have three molars on my bottom rung as a result of a wisdom tooth as well.

Two upper wisdom teeth doing just fine, two lower wisdom teeth removed because they came up diagonally, pushing the other teeth forwards. Out of consideration, I won't describe how. I did survive, though.

Last time I was at a dentist they didn't believe me when I said local anaesthetic wore off quickly on me. Until they had to stop half way through and refer me to the hospital for general because I was screaming so loudly.
He even had the gall to pretend to touch my teeth to see if I was pretending.
I've had another dentist give me an injection, and the syringe was so cold a bit of my gum stuck to it and came away.
There was another time one tried to take a tooth out, ignored my dental records, and didn't read the "brittle jaw" part, so a splinter of bone came out too.

I've not had local anaesthetic for fillings in an age. I can't stand the dribbling afterwards.

Try not to go septic on us, Pastey. I can't afford to come to your funeral.

I had a wisdom tooth pulled under just local. I was 7 months pregnant at the time.... They had to do it with no x-rays, as well. Thankfully, my roots were straight.
It's been a very dry winter (and autumn, for that matter) so far. Usually we've had about 48 inches of rain by now (starting from late October--normally, we get 100 inches of rain a year, with a dry season from May/June to late November) and I think we *may* have had 6 inches. PaperKid's worried that the river won't be deep enough to go swimming next summer.

How hard can it be, seriously, to enhance my user rights? I asked them a week ago. I reminded them again, today. Still nothing.
And one of my colleagues is off on a vacation less than a week from now - and I'm supposed to cover for her. And we need a couple of days to go through the routines.

Escalate, escalate, escalate. Get your boss and their boss copied in.
Also, point out how much of the business crashes if you don't get the access and training in time...

You're right Milla - if I don't have the rights on Monday morning, I'll start escalating.

One of the Swedish bloggers I follow regularly recently posted a video of him riding his bicycle through the woods, with a musical version of Massive Attack's Unfinished Symphony as background music - whhich sent me reeling into Nostalgia Land:
