Happy birthday Lil! Pecan pie is a great choice, and I'm hoping there will be enough for the Salon...
Pastey, if you go to Boonville, that's NW from Sacramento, which is about 80 miles N of San Francisco...from Boonville, it's not too far N along the coast to where Amy lives, and Happy Nerd isn't too far from there.
I'm in Los Angeles...which is so very far S away from there.

I've never been to California, but Syn lived in San Diego for quite a while and wants me to go there with him for a visit one of these days. I want to go oop north to Amy P's so I can see the giant sequoias.

First day of work at storage company with a name like a famous relativistic equation was pretty good. There is a load of training in front of me. I have to learn a whole new career path.

Lil, I am still in the SLC area. I did not take the position in D.C. as they wanted to pay peanuts.
As for paintball, I had a fairly major falling out with one of key members of the team, and have left the team.

Happy birthday, Lil. Hope the day's a good one.
Today, I woke up after four hours of sleep. And accidentally triggered the Fallen And I Can't Get Up alarm. After a couple hours of tossing and turning, and two instances of blearily looking back at the computer, I got back to sleep for another hour or two, and woke up feeling even worse than I had before; I have been feeling tired and irritable ever since.

Sleep deprivation will do that to you. As will accidentally setting off an alarm. Have you checked with a doctor about the sleep problem?
Marv, I did think you had gone to CD and would have to play in a whole new terrain.
I feel pleased this evening; I solved a large bug in my project. This caused a whole lot of stuff to fall into place and begin going like clockwork.
