In the 90s, the Argentine footballer Carlos Roa retired early having refused to sign a contract with his clubs he thought the world would end. Some time later, Once he realised it hadn't and that he had given all his money to the church, he came out of retirement.

I'm pretty sure the world did end on May 21st, and that this is the post-rapture apocolypse. No one I meet on a daily basis would have been Raptured, anyway.

Is there a greater thing in the world than free beer?
It was my birthday last month, and my favourite things was that for two consecutive nights out, my friends and work colleagues bought most of my beers for me. And we went to a club run by a man who also runs one of my regular bars and, as he was on my Facebook friends list, he knew it was my birthday and ons eyeing me enter, presented me with a complimentary pint of Blue Moon.

Looking at Ford pickups today. Tomcat enjoyed scrambling over and through them. Might have to wait for the 2012 models though. Toys for boys!
